What an epic finale!

I enjoyed each of the 6 books in this series, and will be watching for more from this author (supposed to be another book from the same world coming this fall). From someone who spent years playing an MMORPG game, it's clear the story was written with both love of and experience in that sort of gaming genre. Listening to the trials and tribulations of Oren the goblin totem, trying to survive in a game world with its own unique rules and style brought back a lot of old memories from when I played a game similar to NEO. If you've ever played Everquest, WoW, or any of the online games similar to those, or are interested in the (somewhat new?) genre of LitRPG novels, then I absolutely recommend this series. Even if you haven't played any of those games, it's still a fantastic story.

Kinda funny side note, in my online adventuring days, I used to spend sooo much time in goblin caves and villages, I could almost relate to some parts of this story. Makes me almost feel sorry for slaughtering millions of the little greenies.

All the ball jokes.

I can probably write paragraphs about this book, but I’ll spare everyone. The story just gets better and better, and there’s really nice side story’s that relieve you from the heavier bits. I feel like the author does a great job showing side stories, while keeping the main story the focus. The voice actors also killed it. My one tiny problem with the audiobook is that sometimes the sound effects (which really add to the experience) are slightly too loud compared to the voice actor. But other than that, it was a thrilling and emotional ride. Also plenty of ball jokes/puns.

Amazing conclusion to the series.

The large scale battles became a bit boring, but the ending was very satisfying. I'm very pleased with this series, and the way it ended.

I've had over a year of active listening time and been an audible member since 2011... trust me when I say as a grown man I laughed and cried so hard to this audiobook.... words fail me. I wish all audiobooks were held to this quality and dedication. this truly felt like a movie experience. if you liked the audio bites from the 4th book this one has full on soundtracks in the background that make you want to try and gasp at all the perfect times! again 1000/10 review... this is my new favorite finale! God I hope for a spin off series please!! 🙏

just loves the story, characters and the fact that the series had a great ending, not running on forever.

Narration and sound quality are as good as, if not far better than the top game rpg style narrators.

this was just a fantastic story from beginning to end. ended perfectly but wish it would continue. the performances were excellent, sound effects perfect and the story was fantastic!

what a way to go

I have listened to all the books in this storyline and I'm both happy and sad that it's over. I look forward to hearing the other stories and this universe. Great writing by the author and great narration from all involved

This conclusion couldn't have had a better ending! The way Shemer tied up this series was fantastic. Can't wait to see what he puts out now!
