I appreciated the candor. I was a little surprised I learned something I hadn’t learned prior about these ladies. I’ve been listening to their podcast for years! I, too, am a blue dot in a red sea (AR). So much they talk about is so incredibly relatable! Do yourself a favor—listen to their podcast!

Brutally honest

I had no idea what this was about nor have I ever listened to their podcast. I have clips on Instagram and related with them and thought they were humorous. Enjoyed hearing about their lives and struggles. Will definitely go watch Home Sweet Oklahoma and listen to their podcast.

Coming from a lost gay man in Kansas. Listening to you ladies and how your lives have played out has giving me new found gratitude to be alive. I didn’t know it but I needed this book in my life. Thank you both for opening up and sharing the way you two do. It really means a lot and If it’s helped me I know it’s helping others. So relatable!!

Love these ladies and their podcast. Their lives have so many relatable experiences. I love their raw truth and ability to laugh in the aftermath of troubles. And of course I love their unwavering dedication to return our rights and turn this damn shit storm of a country back around.

These women have endured so many shit sandwiches, yet persevered through it all together. A story of a friendship that I envy and appreciate. Was sad when I realized that the book was over. Thank you Jennifer and pumps for the much needed escape!

Great Read

I loved this book. The little nuggets of life lessons that Jen and Pumps pass on in the book are the best part. It was also interesting to learn about their lives and different challenges along the way. It reminded me that no matter where you live or what your family looks like, we all have struggles and things in common. In the end, it makes you feel a little less alone in terms of what you are going through.

I have listened to these two for years and have learned so much. I find myself looking forward to hearing them again and again; being kept up to date on the insane happenings in our country AND... laughter! I feel like I could join them on a porch and just talk and laugh together.

Most of all thank you for shattering the stereotype of where they're from and what they look like. For supporting minorities and LGBTQ+, and being willing to share their intelligence, and the comfortable relationship they have. Not sure I convinced my neighbor but I am

As a fellow Immigriot, i needed a copy of this book because boi oh boi life sometimes sounds like too much. It was a great audiobook that made me laugh but also squeezed my heart. Thank you Blessica & pumps for being yourselves.

I guess i should also tell you how my friend/neighbor saw me walking our respective dogs this week, I probably laughing with my headphones so yelled: “eh! what are you listening to?!”
“Well, hum. So there are these 2 podcasters..
In 2025, I knew it already sounded bad …
no but stay with me: so listen these 2 while ladies from OKC … (not getting better) they have this podcast with petty and not so petty grievances and they wrote a book, the ads say “a manifesto” and it is good.
“Whats the title?”

Never felt so confident with a long english title.
