very interesting storyline.

great character development. very interesting storyline with several twists and turns. this author has recently captured my attention.

Vivid storytelling, crackling thrills!

This was a new author for me - and I loved it! The story grabs you and draws you in, and you soon care about the characters as if you’ve known them all your life. Can’t wait to hear more!

Complex storyline

Long passages without my favorite DCI. Don't like it when authors shove the main character into the background. :( Plot was twisty...very engaging. Narration was excellent. :)

Wow! Great, fast plot Well, starts fast then speeds up

Loves the intricacy of the details.
Detective Murrain and his team are drawn to a small,. cottage town. A boy is found dead. Soon another boy is missing.
A psychiatrist is helping a prisoner get ready to be released.
Many tangled relationships need to be unwound before the story concludes

Amazing writing to a well crafted story

I couldn't stop listening to this story. it's very well written and crafted in a way that keeps you wanting more. The narrator did an amazing job telling the story as well. I enjoyed everything about this book.

Dark Corners

This book was written well a d took reader into areas where parents never want to go while keeping the details clean and in good taste.
The characters were well developed.
As a murder mystery, enjoyed and recommended!

Great Listen

Loved story, characters, and best narrator Greg Wagland. I already have next two books in my library. And will check out others by this author.

Super confusing

I liked the first book, but this one had very little police/detective work. Too many characters, Confusing parallel stories, some in the past and some in the present. Really hard to follow the stories.

Good Story

This is the second book in a series. The story is good, but not very exciting or thrilling. It moves a little slow, but is overall okay.
