Another thrilling story

Justice continues the story of Caitlyn Reed and her canine partner, Renegade, both deputy US Marshalls. While it is a continuation, it can be read stand alone as there's enough back story to fill in otherwise gaps. However I recommend you start at the beginning to see how Caitlyn grows, both personally and professionally. Woven throughout Justice are the back stories of Caitlyn's romance with Clay, the blossoming romance between Caitlyn's brother Reed and her best friend McKenzie, precious problems with meth dealers popping up again, her mom's plans, heartbreak and so much more. This story wraps up nicely yet there is more to come. This is a thrilling book and series, well worth your listening time.

It begins with Colt being called to Montana to talk to some kids about the drugs they were caught with at school. And then without his knowledge the involved criminals were thrust in Caitlyn’s path.
While the two battled against the same crime synagogue- unbeknownst to the other, Caitlyn has to deal with the death of her partner and friend Sam.
Colt gets a lead in case and the two share knowledge.
Then the real fun begins.

Exciting Thriller

I enjoyed book 4 of the "Tin Star K9 Series" a lot. US Deputy Marshall Caitlyn Reed and Sheriff Colt Branson were both working their individual assignments, when a series of events brought them together. This story was filled with a lot of intense action. I liked that this tale emphasized both of the characters' strengths, but also depicted the tenderness that exists between them. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Joyce Oben's narration was fine, and her performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Suspenseful

Once again the duo is busy solving mystery and trying to find justice. Fast paced, easy to listen to.

Simply outstanding!

Justice (Tin Star K9 Series Book 4), my eleventh read, is a re-read of a book I first read in April of this year, from author Jodi Burnett. I read my first book from her back in January & this book is her best work to date ( I keep saying that) continuing the trend of a well-written, enjoyable book, it caught my attention in the opening pages & I never put it down until completed. “I received a free Audible copy of this book and I'm voluntarily leaving a review." Joyce Oben"s narration makes adds to an excellent book's enjoyment. The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Great characters!

Love this series. Great characters and storyline. Why do I need 15 words to write a review. short and to the point is better!

Buckle up for an emotional rollercoaster ride.

I love this series, the stories contain all the best elements of a cozy mystery, a well written whodunit, and a bit of romance included for good measure. The characters are not just well developed, the majority are likeable, and in Justice there are a few who are easy to dislike. The situations Caitlyn, Renegade, Colt, and Sam find themselves in will keep you guessing who they are looking for in their respective cases. Unlike the first three books in this series, this story took my emotions and put them through the metaphorical wringer. The way Joyce adds individual nuances to each of the characters really makes listening to these stories a pleasure.

If you have read or listened to the first three books in this series this is a must read/listen, if you are new to the Tin Star series, do yourself a favor and start with Renegade, book 1, so that you will have all the background that sets the stage for this book. I received a review copy of the audiobook for Justice from the author and chose to provide this review.

Great storyline. Narrator nailed it!

New to Audible. Loved the book and having it narrated. "Read" even while cooking! Riveting!

Great addition to the book

I was introduced to this author through an ARC program and now receive most of her ebooks and audio through her ARC group. Good story that continues the adventures of Caitlyn and her K9 Renegade while including her personal life with her fiance and friends!

Not Jodi's best Book

The story was too much about Colt and Catelyn and their love for each other, too mushy not enought action story with renegade. Also no one could survive being blown twice and shot, plus two concussions unbelievable!
