The product of a 1970s mixed marriage, George Murdoch learned to fight early in life, fending off both race-baiting bullies and the demons of a dysfunctional home. After a false start with the WWE, he eventually became Snoop Dogg's bodyguard and traveled the world with the hip hop legend, biding his time and honing his rap. When the WWE urged him to return, George became "Brodus Clay" and, for the next several years, reinvented himself numerous times under the watchful mentorship of the legendary Dusty Rhodes, "the American Dream." He was eventually christened "Tyrus," and shortly after, a chance social media encounter with Greg Gutfeld at Fox News resulted in Tyrus finding a new skill: sage social commentator. Best Biography This Year!

Absolutely Loved It. Intelligent humor and Real Life Stories and Situations. cannot go wrong reading this one.

Great biography

Taurus did a wonderful job narrating this book it was extremely interesting about his life I couldn't put it down I kept listening all the way through all 30 chapters.

overcoming the odds

Lots of us had rough childhoods. Tyrus overcome the odds to become and thoughtful and helpful adult.

Real life

Hearing Tyrus reading his life story was a blessing to me. It would be easy (and understandable) to tell the story of his life as a full on tragedy but Tyrus himself said he was never a victim. He is able to tell his story in a way that makes you think about your own life and learn to be thankful and more understanding.
I love seeing Tyrus on Fox News network. I admire his insight and the way he cuts through the BS and get to the heart of the matter.

Tyrus - does a good job (watch the language)

The audiobook was fantastic.

It flowed well and put lots of stuff into perspective about Tyrus (George Murdoch).

You will need to be prepared for the language used, tune it out and let what Tyrus says to flow through.

Tyrus Delivers

Here you will find the whole story of this moral and intelligent man’s trek on his road less travelled, not because he chose that road, but because it was forced upon him, and he responded like a man, even a four- year-old child and a teen, who was trying to make right prevail. From defending his mother from an abusive boyfriend to humbly apologizing for his own missteps with a boss and asking for his job back, Tyrus, aka George Murdock, just wants right and fairness and honesty to prevail. As a retired high school English teacher, I especially enjoyed the stories about teachers and coaches who recognized Tyrus’ abilities. I was also impressed by who and what he didn’t include, like relationships from which his children were born. He is about protecting and supporting the innocent. Well done, Tyrus. I give you an A+.

I’ve been watching him on Gutfeld another fox new shows

He is so calm and collected it’s almost eerie. Considering his background I wish more people could overcome their past and look to the future the way he has. If you’ve ever wondered about Tyrus this is the book for you

Need part two of biography

This is a well done condensed biography. It would be good to hear detail about how his relationships with women gradually improved. Perhaps more about his current work life.
