Eclectic, Thoughtful, Well Done
Wow, Tucker Carlson is a surprisingly good writer. And, a not-so-surprisingly good narrator. After all, he is a very engaging TV host. I had never seen any of these magazine pieces in print, and so was a little unprepared for the quality of the writing, their variety of subjects and their charm. This is the quality of writing which discourages one from becoming a writer… Because you can just simply never be this good. A very enjoyable listen.

Should have been longer!
This is the second TC book I've listened too. Some of the stories are amazing and suprising. I had no idea Tucker actually knew how to fire a weapon or spent any time in Iraq.
He might be one of the last old school media players left. The stories are worth the read. Having Tucker do the narrator work is a big plus.

Very Enjoyable Read
I really liked this book. The stories include many old articles written by Carlson some years ago. Part of the story for each article was to explain the circumstances around the writing process of the article. That was the part I found really enjoyable. The back story of how he went about gathering the information and writing the article is something we never hear about. This was an audiobook read by the author that gave it a nice touch.
