Love this book! Love this series so far! Totally inline with my lil conspiracy soul! JA Huss, Everytime I hear/read your books, I'm a totally amazed at your knowledge of so many different things, places etc. You are by far my most favorite author! Love the wit and sass and true verbalizations of how people really talk! (PS the narrators are also the bomb! Great performances!)

Good story. Painful male narration.

I expected a little more alpha strength, power and darkness in this story of Johnny’s, honestly, but the other aspects of the story line were interesting enough. I enjoyed the suspense and surprises. I definitely missed the romance. I like it steamy. This wasn’t that and I thought for sure Johnny would bring the heat.
What was most disappointing was the male narration. I read one reviewer describe the voice as “weasel” sounding…. I found myself nodding. Then I read another reviewer compare this narrator’s voice to a seedy detective from 50 years ago… that sounded right, too. Every time the chapter spoke from the male POV, I cringed. I had enjoyed books 1&2 quite a bit, so book 3 was an auto-buy. If I had listened to the sample, I don’t think I would have wasted a credit. Sigh. I wanted to love this. And there was so much potential. The female voice was perfect but the male voice was really painful for me.

TWISTS & TURNS & SECRETS GALORE!!

I very rarely give a review of books bc I'm simply not good at it. But Johnny!? Lord ALMIGHTY. I lusted after Johnny the whole time and, perhaps I still am. I'm not going to throw any spoilers out. I held my breath more than once during this story. I got frustrated at times bc I couldn't wait to hear more. 🔥 HOT HOT SEX 🔥!! Surprises and a laugh or 3. I'm a junkie for a series and this series is NO exception!!!

As usual a lot of twists and turns!

Was interesting to listen to how the author’s character development of Johnny unfolded.

Also, there is foreshadowing on several situations if one pays attention.

Enjoyed the comments by the author regarding her upcoming books related to the Bossy Brothers.

The male narrator’s male voice like others have noted in their reviews has a pitch and gravel that doesn’t seem to match with Johnny’s character. His female narrations were fine however.

Love love love

This is my first audio with Ted Branson and I. AM. HOOKED! Love his deep, growly voice. Just as I’d imagined Johnny would sound. Not sure how other listeners heard his voice but I heard perfection. Savannah Peachwood as Meghan is also perfect. And the story? Holy crap. Another winner from my new favorite author. 🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥

Great Story!

I loved 🥰 Johnny and Megan’s story and all the little secrets they put together to show more about the WAY. I DID NOT like the male narrator chosen for this story! Johnny is supposed to be this huge scary guy and they chose a weasel voice for him. I was VERY disappointed.

Big bad Johnny Boston is truly a freakin scary badass full of snark and tender hotness (beach scene 🔥🔥🔥). This is my fave for the conspiracy, the action, and all the discoveries. I seriously did not expect this from a romance series, but this is so cool!
