You need to want this kind of read

It’s very lesson oriented. Not as much fun to listen if you want the story. So Just make sure you know what you want out of it.

Well researched and interesting.

Aside from providing an in-depth history of Amazon and Jeff Bezos it also packs many strategy and leadership lessons in that are incredibly relevant. The author does a great job balancing the good and the bad so the reader can draw their own conclusions.

This book provides some interesting background on Jeff Bezos and the birth of Amazon.com. Included are Jeff's top life lessons and leadership lessons, which are excellent.

Insipid

I really thought both the writing and the reading of this audiobook were atrocious. The writing itself is so shallow and boring. The writer devotes inordinate attention to Bezos's wealth and sermonizing about his values. It gets boring fast. I had been hoping to hear the story of Bezos's life, not the author's half-baked opinions.
And the reader of the audiobook cannot even manage to pronounce "anecdote" properly, and it just comes out "antidote." I wish there were more anecdotes in it and that they constituted an antidote to this terrible audiobook.
