Great man

I listened to this while commuting to work. It was great to hear the words penned by an amazing man who used self learning, knowledge and stern management to see the need to create products needed for a growing country.

Amazing character!

Excellent! What a history lesson. J. R. MacGregor is amazing pulling this information together. I would have enjoyed hanging out with Carnegie, not one of his factory workers.. One of a kind.

Worth a listen

I enjoyed listening the biographiesof Andrew Carnegie very much, and learned about his life work and his generosity. But i could be better.What is striking is his principled and ethical approach to his business, and life, was not a obstacle to his success.

Very informative

A reminder of the oligarchs who built this country. Carnegie at least tried to make amends for the way he came to power and wealth.

My take on the audio is that even he exploited the workers in his steel business and later became a philanthropist. He was doing what they did during those times though. We can't rewrite history, nor should we want to. He tried to make it good with his libraries, etc. A man who was a product of his early life.

Extremely informative.....I leaned so many things that I did not know about him. What a great guy he was. All this time I just thought that he was another. Definitely recommend!

Powerful people rub elbows with more powerful people. Makes you appreciate America and the possibilities for native and foreign born men and women. J. R. MacGregor started at the bottom and went to the very top. Truly inspirational!

Amazing and inspirational man

I wish it was required viewing for all CEOs. He still has influence throughout the world due to his moral compass, compassion, generosity, and hard work. I wish I could have met him.
