Forever Fan Very Dissapointed

What disappointed you about Jason?

Jason was not a book, it was a short story about sex. I was angry I waited and then spent the money on LKH's poor excuse for a book. I am a long-time fan, but this story was truly sad. Don't waste your money or your time on this one.

What could Laurell K. Hamilton have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Written a book, not just a couple of sex scenes!

Would you be willing to try another one of Kimberly Alexis’s performances?

Yes, the performance was fine, but the story lacked substance.

its a fluff fic

its steamy and a total fluff fic.I dont think its worth a point. im disappointed the entire series isnt on here.

More of a love story this round. I Loved the story and enjoyed the read.

I did not this as much. There was non of the usual story line that keeps you enthralled. They stayed in the same room doing the same thing for the entire book. The discussion in t he last chapter kinda wrapped it up. It was still good to read though

What I expected.

It's a good short "read" and what I thought ut would be. Still Love the characters but I loom forward to getting back into action.A good Sex story with a good plot...some depth..and sex :-D

Too porny for me.

90% a single detailed sex scene, 10% plot. I literally skipped more than two hours of the book 30 seconds at-a-time. I know it's a novella but I was hoping it would give some background, foreground, or any other ground.

About the book…
This book should have been called Sex Therapy. That’s basically what the entire thing consisted of. [Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining about that. I just want it known that that is what you’re gonna get when you read/listen to this.] I think that Sex Therapy would have been a better title because even though Jason was present throughout the whole story he’s not exactly central to it. However the different conclusions that Anita comes to in the book probably wouldn’t have happened without him. Jason has always been able to get Anita to see the things that she tries so hard to avoid.

About the narration…
I’m generally a fan of Kimberly Alexis’ narration but I have to be honest and say that this time around I was disappointed with her performance. Not that she didn’t do a great job with the text, she did. She brought the story to life with her usual panache. However she changed the voices she used for Jason and Nathaniel. It threw me off. After listening to these characters for so long the switch in their voices was really distracting.

love this series of books

I love the Anita Blake series of books and this one is no different. As always this book does not disappoint.
