First book I ever gave snaps to while listening

Listening to Heather’s book is a mix of a lecture with the highest rated professor at your college and a long two glass of wine dinner with an old friend. I started the audiobook on a road trip and continued it on my walks, feeling not just the wisdom of a woman of deep faith, but the presence of the Holy Spirit in her words.

I wondered more than once how Heather must have prayed over her words and the people they would impact. It is so evident in her writing. She is a researcher storyteller of the highest caliber. This book will be a rest stop and a life raft for many a weary journeyer.

Humbling but necessary

I sincerely did not want to read this book, it’s not been “my turn” for a while. But I’m in a better place for sticking with it. Now I need to go back and soak it up. Grateful for the author’s work.

Full of Gems

As much as we don’t ever want to hear that it’s not our turn, and that we have to wait- Heather Thompson Day explains the ways that God uses this waiting time for our benefit and blessing. It’s almost as if she were directly speaking to me and my circumstances. The stories she shares are very relatable, and helpful. I will be reading it again- this time with a pen and paper to jot down the many gems I want to remind myself of as I wait for my turn.

What a powerful encouraging book!

This book is so amazing! This is my second time listening through and I cannot say it enough - this book can reach many people in many different phases in life.
For the millennial who turns on social media and feels left behind. For the struggling Christian, or the discouraged stay at home or working mom. THIS IS A BOOK FOR ALL!

Excellent audiobook! Will buy ebook to reread

This book touches upon many aspects of life and Christianity, not only the social media or keeping up with the Joneses, as I picked up from what I’ve heard. It has given light, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. It is relatable, and she also backs up her information and insights with facts. I recommend this book to anyone, especially millennials. I want to get the ebook so I can reread and highlight all the good points she made.
