A great addition

This series continues to deliver great content. This has become one of my favorite series and this book keeps that going. Great story and great narration, well worth a listen and a credit.

I will say I am completely biased when it comes to Han Yang. Story is still great and had a great build up. Ended ubruptly though.

This series has kept me going the entire time and this is a great book to follow in the progression of the characters

A solid addition to the series

A new world, new paths to progress in level and prosperity. The MC and a handful of his closest companions persue a quest to slay a litch and resurrect a friend.

So glad I stuck with this series.

I wasn't sure about this series at the beginning of book 1. I thought the mc was too wishy-washy and soft. I very happy I stuck with it. I know that mc's have to go through a process of learning and changing to develop their character but damn was this guy annoying. I just wanted to yell "grow a pair already!". It took some time but he definitely did grow a pair, and now we are here at bk 4.

Now that our mc has grown into himself, the story moves at a really nice pace. The storyline is excellent as is the narration. This is totally worth a credit for each book and a great way to spend 10.5 hours.

I was given a free code in exchange for and early and honest review. If you are looking for a series that doesn't rush through its plotline but still feels like its moving forward the I suggest trying this one out. Just be patient with bk 1 and you'll be rewarded.

Narration challenges

I give the story five stars as I have for the previous three books. I love a well thought out storyline. I was a bit sad. This one was so short compared to the others. The narration is where I saw the biggest challenges. There are plenty of male voices, and they differ enough that it works out well. The problem is that there is only one voice used between the three main female characters, and I quite literally could not tell who was speaking half the time because they are identical. I am good with languages and have a well trained ear. The other major issue that I have is that even after four books, the two narrators still pronounce common names and locations vastly differently. Woroni? It seems that there was no collaboration between them when they recorded their separate sessions. The flow of the story always feels like a hiccup when it switches between the male and female voices.

I am very much looking forward to the next book because of the story. I hope with the tale surrounding Jax is epic.

really great story I'm looking forward to more books the story is written well and the narrators do a great job...my favorite narrator is travis baldree I don't usually listen to anyone else so enjoying these books says alot

Loving This Series!

This series is awesome. I love the progression of the characters and silly quips they say to one another while dealing with some serious situations.

so the story continues. If you enjoyed the previous books, you will continue to enjoy the story with this book it keeps a good pace and progresses the story along nicely.
