Good story but keep politics out please.

while I always enjoy the Pike Logan books, I do feel some of the political propaganda from current events gets tiresome and is unneeded. this was a let down and is the reason for four stars instead of five from this reviewer.

The narration was superb. Plot was compelling.

Narrators ability to do realistic Indian accents was superb; same for female characters. The plot is very probable and plenty of action.

A military thriller with a mix of hotel reviews and a small view of Indian lifestyle.

It’s Brad Taylor’s Task Force, it’s the whole package. This book was more thrilling than American Traitor and less bleak than Dead Man’s Hand. Now I want to visit India.

THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST BOOK IN THE SERIES!! I RANK BRAD TAYLOR UP THERE WITH BRAD THOR, JACK CARR & THE OTHER AUTHORS IN THIS GENRE. LOVED THE WAY HE DEVELOPED ALL OF THE CHARACTERS IN THIS BOOK. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE IN THE SERIES. I STAYED UP ALL NIGHT & THE NEXT DAY UNTIL I FINISHED IT IN LESS THAN 24 HRS. PLEASE THEM COMING! LOVED BRAD'S PERSONAL THOUGHTS AFTER THE END OF THE BOOK

I’m always impressed at how Brad Taylor ties his thrillers into world politics and events. This latest book was especially relevant with regard to India, Pakistan, and China.

Audiobook Review – Into the Gray Zone – Brad Taylor
New York Times bestselling author and former special forces officer Brad Taylor’s latest novel, “Into the Gray Zone,” quite possibly is my favorite audiobook listen so far this year.

While on a routine security assessment in India, Taskforce operator and main character, Pike Logan foils an attempted attack on a meeting between the US CIA and India’s intelligence service. Both government agencies believe it’s nothing more than a minor terrorist attack, but Logan suspects that something more sinister is at play.

After another terrorist attack at the Taj Mahal, Logan begins to believe that outside powers are attacking India in ‘the gray zone’ – between peace and war.

This tale shows how political gamesmanship operates deep in the shadows, where nothing is black and white, only shades of gray, thus the title, Into the Gray Zone.

Pike Logan and his team uncovers a geopolitical scheme that spiraled out of control in India, and they raced against the clock to de-escalate the tensions between two global powers – India and China.

This entire series – Pike Logan (short stories and novellas included) – has always been one of my favorite action thriller series – and Taylor’s admirable military experience and knowledgeable knowledge is the reason why. All his stories are authentic because of the excellent research and verification that he and his wife – conducts. I always feel the validity and the legitimacy of the story while listening/reading – that’s what makes all his novels so “top-notch.”

Meticulous spy craft, high tension suspense, and hardcore military action made this action thriller - Book 19 - a five-star listen.

Excellent audiobook well narrated by Rick Orlow. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

A little confusing.

Love the Pike Logan series. This one fell short. The character and their actions were confusing.

Another great adventure

Pike, Jennifer, Knuckles, all the rest of the favs engage in a good story. The storyline is interesting and food for Thought. Reminds me of things past, causing my revisit to the history. Thanks for another great read.

Lots of surprises. Engaging new characters.

I love the Pike antics. The only things I have issues with are the constant use of ‘continue’ and inappropriate pauses in punctuation. There are many times when the reader speaks as if there is a period or comma, making the whole sentence off. This is really nitpicking. Rich Orlow is truly terrific!!
