Resumen del Editor

Charley Redford was just an ordinary girl until Jake Caplin moved to her small town in Indiana and convinced her she was extraordinary. Almost from day one Jake pulled Charley into the deep and promised he was right there with her. But when a tragic incident darkened Jake's life, he waded out into the shallows and left Charley behind. Almost four years later Charley thinks she's moved on. That is until she takes a study year abroad in Edinburgh and bumps into none other than Jake Caplin at a party with his new girlfriend.

The bad-boy-turned-good attempts to convince Charley to forgive him, and as her best friend starts spending time with Jake, Charley calls a truce, only to find herself tumbling back into a friendship with him. As they grow closer, the spark between them flares and begins playing havoc with their lives and relationships. When jealousy and longing rear their destructive heads, Charley and Jake struggle to come to grips with what they mean to one another. And even if they work it out, there is no guarantee Charley will ever trust Jake to lead her back into the deep...

Everything good!!

Any additional comments?

Well what can I say about Trouble ?? It was alright- so-so, could have been better, didn't get attention right away. I was really looking forward to this book- and I waited for it to come on audio- and when it came I was so excited!!!-

The book was done in a Duel POV from Mia Monroe and Jordan Matthews ~ which that usually grabs my interest right away, because having both point of views makes a whole story come together.

Lets just face it- right from the start Mia Monroe really got dealt a shitty hand- abused by her father- and now abused by her current boyfriend. We aren't talking about verbal- we are talking out verbal, physically. The poor girl has been broken down- and she gets that mill-a-second to escape her boyfriend..... She finds out during the process her mother didn't die, but she did leave her. She left her with the monster of a father. Having a ton of money from her deceased fathers death since he was a doctor, Mia fled from Forbes her boyfriend after giving him a big kick to his junk...

Mia decides to head to Colorado to find her mother- and find out why she left her with Oliver her dad. At this point this is were she meets Jordan Matthews, the guy that luvs them and leaves them- never a 2 night kinda guy.... but when he sets his gorgeous eyes on Mia Monroe he knew he had to have her. Something about her is different.

This book takes you on a wild ride- about 75% into the book- is when I was like OMG thats his......... This has got to be good!.. You must read this to understand what I'm talking about.

The narrators on the book are Tatiana Sokolov and Sean Crisden- At first I didn't know if I liked the narrators- but once I understood the characters, there voice flowed. Trouble is everything what the title is. Mia Asher is all full of Trouble and you def feel for this poor innocent girl.

Jordan is everything good. He's the optimity of hotness, and understanding.
Mia is a broken soul that finds her way back-

Loved reading it more...

I found the narrators voice super irritating. I enjoyed the paper version so much more... Too bad really.
I just found she puts emphasis on the wrong things and is very nasal and makes all the characters sound immature.

What a romance!

Any additional comments?

I loved this book. It was near impossible to stop listening to. It was a well written book that held me captivated and had me feeling everything Charley did. The story felt so real, like I knew all the characters personally.
Loved it, highly recommend!

Annoying narration.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Honestly, after hearing the first 30 mins of the book I stop and just go on reading the book itself. I cannot stand the delivery of the narration on this book.

Good story but annoying narrator

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I'm unsure. Definitely not the audio version, I do not like this narrator. I liked the story but I did think there is too much sex in it. I got frustrated with characters decisions from time to time but I still want to know what's going to happen. So all that being said, I don't know that I would recommend it to a friend yet, I think I need to see where the rest of the story goes before deciding.

Has Into the Deep turned you off from other books in this genre?

Not at all, I quite enjoy the genre.

What didn’t you like about Renée Chambliss’s performance?

Her voice is annoying. She sounds kind airheaded to me and immature. Her enunciation is fine so that's not a problem I just think it's her voice that bothers me. I had forgotten that I listened to one other story from her and really did not like her when I bought this. I did listen the whole way through so it wasn't annoying enough for me to quit, but I will not buy more books with her narration.

Did Into the Deep inspire you to do anything?

No

Second chance on love?

What did you like best about Into the Deep? What did you like least?

The author did a predictably amazing job unfolding the characters piece by piece and showcasing their strengths but also flaws and weaknesses.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

The overall tone of the book ended up being very sobering, which took away some of the ease while reading the story.

Any additional comments?

I absolutely adore Samantha Young. This story was not up my particular taste but that has nothing to do with execution on her end.

Great Story but the narrators voice

I loved the story! I'm hoping in the next book a lot of there issues are worked out and questions are answered! the narrators voice though is so nasal and irritating but b/c the story was so good I ignored it the best I could!

loved the friends

more like 3 & A half ...predictable BUT I did love the characters & the connections. Honestly I assume there's going to be a book about the friends which I think will be a lot better.

Just can't recommend this one

I love Samantha Young's "On Dublin Street" series, so I wanted to give this a try, despite the mixed reviews. But I just can't recommend this one for a few different reasons. First, I'm all in favor of angst and build up, as long as it leads to something satisfying. This story was heavy on the former, light on the latter. Second, Renee Chambliss did her best, but her voice is just a little too high pitched and nasally, which I can deal with for the female characters. However, her attempts at the male voices were not nearly masculine enough. It's no fault of hers; it just doesn't sound good to me, and so I struggled to enjoy her male voices. Her Scottish accent was only so-so. And third, the reason behind all the drama wasn't believable enough for me to buy into. I just couldn't believe it could cause as much of a divide between the two lead characters as it did. Bummer. I read the reviews for the next book, and I am sad to say I have no need to purchase it. Same narrator, almost same story. No need to do this again.

First love

I think everyone can relate in one way or another being crushed so bad you think it will never go way and that time will heal this one. Started part 2
