Innocence

Innocence was a great and beautiful listen. It was a little emotional but it was really an experience. This book is amazing! Everything it talks about and how it talks about these subjects. Very inspiring! Can’t wait to get my hands on the paper copy! Highly recommend 10/10

Extremely grounding and mindful

I was so glad when this audiobook became available before the hard copy. While I love to read, the delivery through narration is captivating and thought provoking. Innocence transcends a genre, it offers to fill some of the gaps and holes in our spirits and psyche that we may not have realized were there. To say that this was simply a beautiful experience would not be doing it justice.

Profound & Enlightening

If you're looking for a book that will give you insight to areas in your life that you might need to awaken, INNOCENCE is perfect..

Emotionally grounding and uplifting

It's very easy to flow through the audio version of this book as not all of the poems and passages have titles. Chapter 1 is pure and light. I listened to it while driving, a lot of the time through the community I grew up in as a kid, and where recollection may bring up some memories of my innocence fading away the author's words served as a reminder that our innocence doesn't fade. We simply have to channel it. Chapter 2 is not one to rush through. Take. Your. Time. Chapter 2 gives you permission to grieve any disconnection from your innocence the way the author grieved his. The best way to experience poetry audiobooks (in my opinion) is to have the physical copy in hand to follow along and see where you wish to pause and pickup later so I'm excited to get my physical copy to listen again! I was expecting the book to be about innocence in a way that focuses on embracing your inner child or something like that, but it's soooo much more. Read/listen and find out for yourself :)

Insightful Contemplation

beautiful contemplation on conscious living and what it means to be human on this physical plane. a great confirmation for spiritual seekers as one understands their ascension.

Groundbreaking in my spiritual practices

This book helped me access my innocence — those parts of my higher self that were once packed away by earlier traumas. It’s been groundbreaking for me to reintegrate those parts of me into my adult life.

It is now my go-to book to deepen my non-denominational meditative practices.

I first listened to on Audible and I’m excited to experience it in print. There were some moments of minor static on the audio feed that I hope can be addressed.

Absolutely beautiful! I can relate to so many things that was spoken. I always appreciate the creativity of writers. The lyrical arrangement of Innocence was amazing.

The name itself says it all "Innocence". It is rare Audible, enjoy it. it's a pure joy to hear his voice so just surrender and let it go, let it flow in ur ears and heart. it teaches us try not to resist that change, instead let life live through you. Thank you deep for what you have offered us. Nobody can love as deep as you!❤

Deeply introspective & restorative

This book is refreshingly much more profound than I'd initially imagined from simply reading its title.

Chapter 1 was light, etheric and very easy to listen to. It felt something like a meditation. The listener is almost able to taste what is undoubtedly a distillation of the nectar from years of the authors meditative practices. Through the authors own processing of experience, we are reminded that we always have access to our innocence, that it can never TRULY be lost or stolen from us.

Chapter 2 contrasts Chapter 1 artfully. We tend to romanticize [spiritual] life as all rainbows and sunshine, but here we are beckoned to remove the rose tinted shades and truly see this world in its wholeness. It felt incredibly personal & raised deeply rooted emotions as I directly experienced several of the topics discussed within this lifetime.

This is one of those delightfully rare books that makes you see life with a new set of eyes, that you can read or listen to over and over and leave with something new to unpack and digest each time. Much gratitude to the author for extending this gift to us.

I highly recommend this book on audio and look forward to interacting further with the physical copy.
