I hate this new performer

I have always liked the stories but this reader muddles all the voices and pronounces words ridiculously. The emphasis she puts on words like necromancer and every French word is just sad. She makes Jean Claude sound like an old American housewife versus the beautifully seductive man he is.

in this point we find out Anita is a "Rain maker" in other news she's a squirter. In the same type of news she's a scratcher who will dig her nails out so long as the orgasm lasts

I wish...

I love the story line, I love the book itself. I wish that the narrator wasnt so.... bland. she isnt monotone perse, it's that she doesnt do inflection or much change when it comes to other chart. I do like how when its supposed to be a phone call or mind to mind that it seems more distant. that was a nice little twist.

still in love with Anita Blake series

I love these books I don't see myself not reading all of them granted some are a little better than others but you get so deeply involved with each character that it's hard not to get attached and feel some sort of way emotionally when something happens to one of the characters in the series

Just don’t like narrater, but book is great as usual! The author is amazing I am so glad she keeps writing books for this series.

Very descriptive

Loved the story, no doubt. Just wish the pronunciation and voice changes were more pronounced, like they were before.

Horrible Narrator

LOVED this book! The narrator however, not at all. She made EVERY man's voice soft and feminine. Why?! Why does every man speak softer than Anita. It was extremely awkward during the sexy bits.😕 Also some of the pronunciations, like "weerwolf" were awful. It distracted from the story.

Another great story by LKH!

I love these books! As soon as the audiobook became available, I preordered them. the narrator does a great job with the voices and the story. And LKH delivered another can't put it down novel.
