Have been waiting for Roman’s story!

Absolutely love this series and the original Pucked series. It’s one of my absolute favorites. So funny and full of great characters.

Just wish the male and female parts could read all their own lines. Sometimes it just doesn’t feel right hearing the opposite person’s voice, especially during sex scenes.

Swoony & Spicy

Stephen Dexter and Stella Bloom deliver a stellar narration that brings Roman and Lexi’s story to life. Roman the devoted single dad and goalie, is utterly swoony. Lexi’s strong, career-driven presence in the sports world is refreshing and inspiring. Their chemistry is off the charts, making this my favorite installment in the Toronto Terror series!

Favorite of the Series

I finished Roman and Lexi’s story in the wee early morning hours. I am in love with this couple and this friend group! It is my favorite of the series and one of my 2025 favorite books.

Roman is a swoon worthy hockey player and single Dad His love language is taking care of people he loves. He finally meets the woman of his dreams and she runs away. Years later they meet again and she is his new boss.

Lexi is the first female assistant coach in the professional hockey league. Outwardly she is confident and strong. Under the layers she is a busy single parent trying to keep her nose above water. It’s a sweet and spicy second chance love story with plenty of angst.

The supporting characters of the hockey teammates and the Bada$$ Babe Brigade are all a found family. Oh, my heart!!

You will love this story if you like sports romance, love sweet alphas and strong confident women, family connections, single parents, age gap and love in the workplace.

Second Chance Romance

This was the best yet in the Toronto Terrors universe. Roman is a dream and the strength of Lexi in pursuing her dream of coaching. Both narrators brought depth to the main characters and secondary ones as well. This is a very smexy read. Thank you Helena Hunting and can’t wait till the next book in the series.

Hunting never disappoints, every book makes you want more. Character development pulls you in and gets you invested in the story. Her writing is awesome

Daddy Roman

Daddy Roman and Lexi's story might be my absolute favorite so far!! The narrators did such a fantastic job with these characters. The little nuances they brought to their characters really helped drive the emotion of the story and I found myself laughing and crying at every turn. The FMC's narrator also did such a great job with Callie's character; she quickly became one of my favorite characters. This was such a good story to add to the series!

Daddy Roman's book finally

If You Love Me is book 4 in the Toronto Terror series and follows veteran goalie, Roman, as he tries to resist a former weekend hookup and now, new assistant coach, Lexi.

Roman is the veteran goalie for the Terror, who is planning to retire at the end of the season. He is a single dad, to Peggy Aurora "Hammer". Although Hammer is a full grown adult, in a relationship with Hollis and working full time for the Terror, she will always be his little girl.

Lexi is the new assistant coach for the Terror, focusing on the defensive players. She was hired from outside of the Terror organization, and there appears to be some resentment from other coaches who also applied for the position. Last year, her mother and step father were killed in an accident and she became the guardian and sole support for her younger half siblings.

Three years ago, Roman and Lexi spent the weekend together in New York. She figured out who he was, but he had no clue who she was. Although it was just supposed to be the weekend, they have thought about each other and that weekend for the last three years.

When his wildest dream shows up on the ice, Roman is in shock. He now has her name, but she is his new coach which means she is off limits.

But how long will they be able to hold out for? Lexi feels like she is failing at raising her sisters. When Roman hears this, he becomes her support system. In addition to him, Dred and Connor are there for Lexi and the girls. In more ways than one.

But when another member of the staff reports them to management for fraternization, Roman and Lexi take drastic measures. Will they prove successful or bite them in their booties?

This story has some emotional moments as Fee and Callie learn to live life without their parents. The holidays will be hard on all of them. Birthdays will be hard on all of them. But Roman will be there for all of the hard times. And surprisingly, so will Connor.

I think the most moving scene in this book is when Callie's birthday wish comes true. She is over the moon, but will it all work out? So many things are up in the air with these people. We can only wish for the best for them.

I love listening to Stephen Dexter and he is such a great pick for Roman. He has that gruffness when needed to go with his smooth voice. Stella Bloom seems to be in my ears quite a bit lately. I love her voice and enjoy listening to her. I love her take on both Fee and Callie in this story.

I am obsessed with this series! It’s got the steam and it’s well written, I can’t wait to see what comes next!!
