Inspiring & Uplifting

If you know me, you know I live for everything Samyra Alexander creates! I just finished my second round of "I Should Have Worn A Curtain 2," and this time I listened to the new audiobook narrated by Engle Coulter, and she totally nailed it! The way she brought Shaena’s world to life was even more amazing than the first time! Our fierce FMC is facing some serious struggles with food addiction and bulimia, dealing with her complicated relationship with her mom, and navigating a messy breakup with a total nincompoop! The character development is exceptional, and it is truly inspiring to watch her evolution and journey toward self-improvement. Once again, this book deserves a resounding 5-star rating!

A very relatable story.

This story thoughtfully captures one woman’s journey with body image, self doubt, and the emotional struggle of trying to lose weight. While working to stay consistent, discovers what true friendship looks like and faces her ongoing struggles with dating/relationships. This is an excellent read especially for anyone who has had any or similar issues, very relatable. The narrator really did a fantastic job bringing this to life.

Relatable

“I should have worn a curtain 2” was enlightening, comical, and relatable. Shana battles with an eating disorder and life stressors. The story is relatable to quite a few women. I highly recommend this audiobook.

Revelation!!

I am so proud of Shaena and the work she put in towards her goals. Part 2 was just as good if not better than part 1! I truly enjoyed her story and witnessing her journey. The audio performance was magnificent! She really brought all the characters to life. Well-done!!

Part 2

Shaena continued to struggle with her eating disorder. She really had some awful people in her circle who had no boundaries or respect for her. I admire her strength to stand up for herself and I loved the way she took it to social media to expose her bully (ex) .
