Thrilling and Twisty!

Be prepared for anything when you pick up Twisted Endings by Samyra Alexander. The unexpected surprises in each story made this an absolute page turner. Just the titles alone let you know you’re in for an electrifying experience:

I loved how each story was uniquely different while having a few things in common, such as The Hamilton Psychiatric Facility! I had several laugh out loud moments especially when reading the Crappy Grandmammy. (My favorite) So, if you must, check the trigger warnings, and brace yourself for a twisty, thrill ride.

All the stores I can relate to things as such happening in real life.

I liked the whole concept of the stories. It’s like I was experiencing what the characters was going through with them.

Things can always get worse

I love a good collection of short stories especially when they each have a great plot/storyline. Each story starts already in a dark tone and you may think things can’t get any worse but keep reading …….no spoilers. Samyra has a way of intertwining elements that definitely feel very realistic and the responses don’t seem far from really happening . Worth the read/listen but be prepared to pick your jaw up after you get to the “oh hell naw” moments .

The storytelling was immaculate

I have listened to a few audio books before and I am really liking how it feels. With Twisted Endings, my imagination took over, everything was so much more surreal while listening to these seven tales. All of them were shocking and twisted.

"If You're Reading this Letter" was gut wrenching.

But, "The Motivational Speaker" and "Exposed" left me speechless and haunted. It's been a few days since I finished the book and those two stories still stay with me.

Amazing Stories That Keep You Guessing

Great stories with amazing twist ! It was fun to try and guess and some I did but 10/10 recommend!

Love the underlying themes

Not only are the stories catchy and get you interested, there is such a bigger life lesson you’re also learning on the way.

Terrifying Shorts

Some of the best horror can be found in stories that are so simple & relatable. The stories that make you question your own decisions- that what I love me about each of these shorts. The narrator bought each story to life & this was a quick & enjoyable listen.

Diabolical & Deranged

What an experience! I wanted to stop but I had to keep going and see it through. The narrator did a good job bringing these deranged stories to life! Two short stories that stuck with me:
“If You’re Reading This Letter”-
This one was beyond challenging to digest. When the trauma you’ve endured leads you to ending it all…. what do you do… who finally saves you, if they can. *sigh*
“The Motivational Speaker”-
Sadistic! Be careful who you try to confront, they may very well be your worst nightmare!

So Twisted

Such amazing collection of stories. I needed more. I need each story to be a full book at this point. Samyra doesn’t disappoint

Twist after Twist!

If you love short stories with jaw dropping twists, you will enjoy Twisted Endings. Samyra Alexander's seven unpredictable stories dive into everything from messy relationships to personal struggles. The characters feel real, and the twist were so crazy! I had to go back and listen again a couple of times because I couldn’t believe what I just heard. I wish that some of the stories were longer!
