Cute book

This was a fun romp. Listen, I thought I had read all the invented sex scenes imagined but these got a little ridiculous. Still, laugh out loud funny. Especially the scenes with her lion.

A pleasant surprise

I’m not normally a straight romance reader (and this one isn’t really straight. The two male love interests are intimate with each other during sex scenes, which was a pleasant surprise) but I typically find romances between men and women to read kind of predatory with a lot of unsavory dubcon…but this book really went the extra mile to make the heroine have agency and flair. The sex scenes were steamy, spicy, and rough without being humiliating and uncomfortable. The humor was there. The characters were there. My only gripe is that the romance of it all was a bit stripped down (beyond the sexual stuff). We got to the end and the “I love you”s started flying pretty spontaneously when these characters really haven’t gotten to know each other super well yet. Other than that, it was great, and I can’t wait for the next book!

I loved the funny parts!

I liked the facts and all about the animals and plants. However, as I am a nurse, the emergency medical situations needed a little more reality.
