Happy Place

Pippa & Lili's collaboration on these books is such a fun, happy place to be immersed. Humbugged is a satisfying end (?) to the Happy Cat series, and the audiobook version did not disappoint!
Jacob Morgan and Virginia Rose do a great job of character voices and emotion.
Definitely worth the read and listen - more than once!

What a great way to wrap up 2019! Clint and Noelle's story was everything I hoped it would be, plus more I didn't realized I wanted. I've been waiting for Clint's story, and he may very well be my favorite O'Dell brother. I'll have to revisit the other guys before I confirm this statement. I'm in love w/them all!

Clint is that big tough meme-worthy Marine, with all the advertised toughness you'd expect. But he's also the sweetest, has such a huge heart, and is so protective of everyone, including Happy Cat's furry population. He and Noelle are made for each other, and I did some serious swooning, squirming, and laughing. This was such a great holiday story.

I always love visiting Happy Cat, with its wonderful array of animals and their quirky personalities. How could anyone not want to go there? Jacob Morgan and Virginia Rose do a great job with the narration. Jacob is one of my top narrators!

Oh my!

I just can’t with these animal names, they are simply the best!!! I am so sad to be done with this series.

These animals in Happy Cat are so extra 🤣.

Clint, the O’Dell baby brother finally gets his minute. He’s a hero to a nation & a hero to his hometown, it’s only fitting that he’s a hero to broken hearted new resident. Not only does he solve her mystery, he mends her broken heart. Noelle’s dad is a Marine & she’s vowed not to be with one…but she hadn’t met Clint O’Dell yet. That man could make a reindeer love him 🤪. He breaks down her walls, strikes a deal with her, & then holds on for the ride of falling in love. I loved Clint & Noelle. They were perfect together. And can I just say that it’s so refreshing when characters actually communicate with each other!

OMG! I love this series!

I do hope Ms Grant and Ms Valente collaborate on more stories. These were so enjoyable and I laughed through all four books. I truly hated coming to the end. Thank you, ladies. Well done. Brava!

Funny, Sexy, and worth the read

The town of Happy Cat and all the craziness!! This is a stand alone BUT you get to see all the characters from other books set in Happy Cat then add in Nutcracker the Goose, George the raccoon, and Don Juan the reindeer and you will be laughing out loud. Jacob Morgan and Virginia Rose did a wonderful job of narrating all of the fun...and sexy moments. WORTH the credit.

I really loved this revisit of Happy Cat. When I got to the bonus epilogue- I was in hysterics. 😘😂. Nutquacker’s voice portrayed by Jacob Morgan made my day.

Best holiday book!!!

LOVED this book!! I couldn't stop laughing if I tried.
This is my first visit to Happy Cat and now I am wondering what has taken me so long. The characters are outrageous and put the FUN in funny! The story takes me on an adventure for epic proportions with a holiday theme.
If you haven't picked this up WHAT are your waiting for?? This is one I will listen to over and over...whenever I need a mood lift or until I can say all the words.

I did listen to this little gem on audio. Virginia Rose and Jacob Morgan Did a wonderful job! They had some challenges and they passed with flying colors!

Especially the Second Epilogue (tee hee hee)

Love this story

The friends and the family and animals and just the whole thing this story was so much fun!! now I need to figure out if there was more before so I can go back and listen . I listened to two not realizing they were together but I think there might be two more got a check anyway well worth the listen lots of fun talking animals oh it was just so much fun

Funny, sweet, clever

How can you go wrong with a story that sat in a town called Happy Cat that’s populated by an ornery goose named Nutquacker, a theiving racoon named George Cooney, and a ghost? This might be a somewhat silly book, but it’s so well done with clever dialogue and witticisms and a great love story that you actually enjoy the silliness—not a genre I normally indulge in. I bought both the Kindle as well as the Audible, but the narration is so wonderful that I doubt I’ll actually read the book. PS: “Hitched” by the same authors and narrators, a stand alone prequel, is queued and waiting for me to finish this review:-)
