Effective and Unique Techniques and Methods

Will relisten again! Clear, concise information and explanation, as well as useful and easy to understand instruction for intuition and healing. Also, Laura’s voice is so easy to listen to, as well as being imbued with healing in the audio itself.

A Work of Practical Genius

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. But it depends upon the friend. Some of us are open to intuition. Some are not. There's zero return and significant distractions in trying to turn someone who's not into something into a user. People come to things in their own time.

What other book might you compare How to Rule the World from Your Couch to and why?

None like it come to mind. In comparison know well the published and private work of: two prominent parapsychologists, one prominent healer, one prominent psychic, and *many* others like them who practice and teach intuition in many aspects of their lives. But none of those people's work is like what Day has done in this book.I myself author a casual and unusual page on nonlocal consciousness (an academic term) which is actually the main topic of this book. So I infrequently find and review the work of the best people I can find. That doesn't mean I wouldn't find other books with which to compare this one by Day. But I don't know of them.

I've been a closet 'intuitive' my whole life. Some of my friends have called me 'psychic.' For example, I regularly have precognitive dreams, precognitive meditations, and sometimes postcognitive ones. When I want to I easily see energy fields and I'm also known for that among my closest friends. One of my favorite people in the world, agnostic about energy and intuition, once commented to me that he wouldn't have believed what I did unless he was there to see it himself. I have worked closely in applied nonlocal consciousness with two prominent parapsychologists, and have intentionally and carefully metered what I have shown them. One of them asked me once to deliver a surreptitious dream message to advance their personal goal. I wouldn't care to be treated like a lab rat. I don't feel a need to prove for anyone else that something already exists. For grins I author a page on nonlocal consciousness, the academic term for the basis of the discussions in Day's book. I founded a ran a casual salon of intuitives and psychics. I write that to show you I'm anything but a noob about the topics in the book.Even with all those experiences and skills, I still find that I appreciate arms-length coaching from someone, like Day, who knows exactly what they're doing. I learn especially well from women, and I find Day's audio presence especially soothing. Which means I can learn more and do more from this book.

was my first time listening to Laura Day... and I sure had mix feeling about the book..

Would you recommend How to Rule the World from Your Couch to your friends? Why or why not?

I wouldn't recommend to everyone.. although some good input in few subject, I was little uncomfortable with her "Body heat telepathy" ... I find a little bit manipulative, she defends herself by saying that we all do that already... doing it without wanting to violated someone else mind/space is one thing...doing it in purpose, this is where I have issue...
So if those are real tools...they are not to put in everyone hands...

Would you listen to another book narrated by Laura Day?

No..I find her boring at time... and I didn't like her "how to control someone else mind" tips..Most of us wouldn't appreciated to be manipulated that way, so why would you do that to someone else?? really!!

Did How to Rule the World from Your Couch inspire you to do anything?

Some good tips in there..as long as you are respectful of other space/mind..

When I read the tittle..i was already a bit put off... when I listen to that "Body heat telephaty"..I was really put off... not sure that the real intention on Mrs Day in here.. but, I rather listen to Carolyne Myss..

Essential listening for anyone who wants to improve their intuitive skills

This book is easy to listen to and follow. Day is a particularly skillful narrator and presents concepts in way that are easy to understand. Listening to the book feels like you are the recipient of a one-on-one conversation.

I LOVE this book! I bought it years ago and just downloaded it again because it was so amazing. I listened to it so many times and used everything I learned to great success. Time for a refresher! I can't wait to see the great changes in my life that I know will come from it once again. 5 stars!

An Intuition Text Book

This book is excellent, I would best describe it as an “Intuition Text Book”. I appreciate that Laura Day has taken the complex and seemingly intangible subject of intuition and created such a simple and practical step-by-step process to access it. I have this book in both Hardcover and Audio format as I love being able to listen to the author speak her work and also to have a physical copy to refer back to.
