I like that gods mercy of love ans forgiveness is weaved throughout the story..That we definitely must have self love also before we can love others. mistakes are forgiven. new beginnings given after much sinning is the ultimate gift from God.i really like the part where she is reunited with her family

What a wonderful love story. Real love of God, husband, and family. Love this book.

An endearing story of redemption

This was such a great story! I felt such a connection with Kizzy and the others. It reminds me that we serve a God of second chances. It was beautiful to see the redemption and restoration in the story. It had my attention from the first minutes to the end.

Just loved this series

I read the first story years ago and listened to the last two this year. I just loved the stories set in the mountains during that period. I hope you enjoy it too!

Finding your true identity-in people and God

This was a wonderful story of love and redemption. This is an endearing story about a naive woman, Kizzy who made some poor choices in her life and struggled with forgiving herself. As she draws closer to God, she finds where her true identity lies. Through that, she is able to discover true love with a man who truly loves her fully and for who she is!

Just read it!

I really loved this story. The romance is so perfectly sweet, the characters relatable and lovable. For any woman who has walked a life not according to Gods plan, this one hits home. I think it would be an excellent story for older teens, learning what love really looks like and how to guard their hearts. I really enjoyed the first book but I loved this one. Such great story telling, reflections on Gods grace and the plans that he has for us that are SO much bigger than our own.

Beautiful story

I love all of Pepper Basham’s books. I can’t put one down once I start. The narration made it even better.
