When a homicide detective shows up at her door the next morning with news that her ex-boyfriend has been murdered, she realizes that her troubles are just beginning.  

She is shocked - not only to learn of her ex's death but also to find out that the police consider her to be a suspect in the killing. Hope soon realizes that the only way to clear her name is to find the real killer herself.

Love this bundle!

I love a good book bundle and this one was perfect! I listened to the first in the series previously and loved it. I love that this series has a bundle option so I can listen to them all. I love the Rachel Carr brings Hope's character to life!

This is marketed towards a younger audience so it might be wrong for me to review as it’s not intended for me.

As I can potentially see it appealing to my kids. But it’s definitely to simple and straight forward for me

Meredith, great series you have here! Love it, super entertaining and I love a good mystery, cozy or otherwise.

Hope Hadley is a great character, loved the story and it was beautifully narrated.
I'm definitely a fan of Meredith's books, and I'm sure you will be too after listening :)

Geared towards the younger aged readers

Although this book was good and a fast listen it was ok but not something i would want to listen to again. It is geared towards young adults.

Hope Hadley five book bundle

This was a set of five good stories featuring Hope Hadley,an out of work actress from a PI series.Her family is full of police ,so she feels she knows as much,or more than the ones she has to deal with regularly.It is geared towards a younger crowd I believe,but still not bad to listen to. Rachel Carr was a fine narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

A wonderful collaboration between author&narrator

Fame is a Killer (Hope Hadley #1), my seventh short read/listen from author Meredith Potts. I own both the Kindle & Audible versions of this book so I was able to follow along while being read to. A cute, well-written clean cozy mystery & an enjoyable read.

Great Collection!

Hope Hadley is a unique character that Meredith Potts has developed. I really enjoyed the collection of stories, and found them to be original. Rachel Carr did a great performance with these stories. I found the premise that Hope was able to participate in the investigations a little far fetched, but still so enjoyable. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

Okay Heroine, Wonderful Narrator

This Hope Hadley set was an easy listen. It’s perfect for multitasking as it’s not particularly involved.

Hope can strike as periodically unlikeable. She can have a lack of empathy as quickly evidenced in the first book as she hates being viewed as a suspect, but is aggressive and accusatory when speaking to other suspects. This only happens sometimes, and generally Hope is someone I’d be glad to grab a cocktail with. However, I’m very empathetic and when it happened it took me out of the story straight away.

The narrator is lovely, fun and plucky, as I assume Hope would be herself.

There are so many cozy mysteries out there I don’t think I’ll pick up another Hope book, but I’m very certain they are someone’s cup of tea.

Good for an airport or long trip

While this is not great literature it is good entertainment for a long trip or sitting at a Airport.

The main character is not someone you can have great love for but the story can hold your
attention and not make you strain your brain.

oh really enjoyed these hope is a ex hollywood star that finds herself being in the wrong place at the wrong time but uses her "expertise" to investigate the murders around her great job by narrator
