Great Read

Hope Hadley Cozy Mystery Anthology was a great read by Meredith Potts. This anthology features: <urder of a Movie Producer, Killer Holiday Office Party and Murder Hits Close to Home. These books follow Hope Hadley investigating three murders. I can't wait to read more by Meredith Potts.

This is book eight throuh ten in the Hope Hadley series.Hope is a pi who used to be an actress.She gets to town just in time to deal with another friend being accused of murder.She needs new friends.lol Stephanie Quinn was a fine narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Hope Hadley, Detective!

This 3 story anthology lets us enjoy Hope Hadley and her brother solve more murders in their small town. The first book, Murder of a Movie Producer has Hope off to Hollywood to visit her friend Sophie. When movie producer Paul Franklin shows up dead, Hope's amateur sleuthing comes into play. After interviewing all suspects, what she finds out is things are not always what they seem and you need to look right under your nose! Book two, Killer Holiday Office Party, takes place around Christmas and hits home for Hope. When her brother comes to her for help in finding the killer, she is hesitant, but knows she will not rest until the case is solved. The third story, Murder Hits Close to Home finds the victim close to Hope. When Summer is killed,Hope is not going to stop until justice is served. I love these short entertaining stories. They are easy to listen to, add some humor and I enjoy Hope's intuitiveness. With narration by Stephanie Quinn, the anthology is pure pleasure. It will make you think a little, laugh a little and enjoy your time listening.

Really enjoyed all three stories in this box set Holly is a great character looking forward to more .

Hope Hadley Cozy Mystery Anthologoy

Murder of a Movie Producer--Hope's friend Sophia has taken care of her mother and after her death decides to go to Hollywood Ca to try her luck at becoming an actress. Hope tries to help by reminding her that Hollywood Ca is fickle and wants nothing to do with actresses over 40. About a year later Hope's on her way to visit her only to find she's been arrested for murder. Now it's up to Hope to prove or disprove her friend's guilt or not.

Killer Holiday Office Party--Daniel and Hope are at his place preparing for Christmas when someone starts knocking on the door. Daniel is deciding whether to answer when a voice speaks loudly calling for Hope. When the door is answer it's her brother Joe. He tells her that her good friend from elementary school has been killed in what may be a botched robbery. Now they need to find the murderer at this time of the year.

Murder Hits Close to Home---Joe and his new girlfriend Summer are out with Hope and her fiance Daniel. The next day when Hope tries to call Joe it takes two tries before she gets him only to learn that Summer's sister has been murdered. Now her and Joe need to find the murderer to help Summer have closure.

Stephanie Quinn is a fantastic narrator who brings each character to life. Her voice is gentle and soothing even in the midst of turmoil in which the characters are involved.
Fantastic audio and stories.

This has two titles I already had already listen and one new.

Killer Holiday Office Romance
Poor Hope, she can't enjoy the Holidays, can she?

As always, this was a great story, clean and interesting. I really enjoyed the fact that this time it was her brother who asked for help. It's nice to see how close they have become :)

And it's a quick and easy 'read', so there is no excuse to not enjoy it.


Murder of a Movie Producer
This is such a different story from the previous ones, and we'll get to see Hope under a new light, under circumstances that are really hard for her.

I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll just say this is a great story, with an unexpected twist at the end.

This is a great story, and you won't regret giving it a go :D


Murder Hits Close to Home
Another harsh time for Hope, but I'm really happy to see her and her brother working together with such ease! And he has a lovely girlfriend now!

Lovely, entertaining and a very fun reading.


The narrator Stephanie Quinn has done a great job in all of these.

loved the book, narrator, and definitely the story line!! Smooth flowing story, intrigue, and many emotions throughout! I highly recommend!!

Light Cozy Mystery Anthology

It is the holidaysand she's at her boyfriends going to relax with homemade cookies when there is a knock at the door and she is informed of another murder. Hope cannot relax until this murder is solved. This book has a believable storyline and believable characters that are lighthearted. This was one of the books. Another is Murder of a Movie Producer. This one is differat than others. You just have to read/listen to see the difference. This one is emorional for her. Then Murder Hits Close to Home. This one she's engaged and her brother finally has a girlfriend. The narration is good and keeps you interested. Stephanie Quinn is a great Narrator and she keeps your interest. I enjoyed these books.

Great stories!

Murder of a Movie Producer #8 : Hope goes back to Hollywood, CA to visit her very good friend only
to find that the woman has really changed. The next bad surprise is that this friend has been
arrested for murder! So Hope goes on the sleuth but is blocked at every turn. After a phone call to
her detective brother in Hollywood, FL she has new insight and solves the case. A comfortable
short read!
Killer Holiday Office Party #9 : Newest addition to a nice cozy series about the sister of a homicide
detective in a small town with a miniscule police budget. That explains why he is able to take her
along on this murder investigation in which she has more inside knowledge of the victim and the
suspects. The publisher's blurb is a good start, and it's easy to slide into the series at any time. I
love this book and the series!
Murder Hits Close To Home #10 : Another heart wrenching case that Hope and her brother have to
solve. A friend is the victim but sorting out the lying suspects is a tough task. An excellent short
read!
Stephanie Quinn does a great narration of the interesting characters.
