I love baseball and this book!!!

This is the 2nd book and I really enjoyed both of them. The narration by both guys was so good. McClain’s struggle is heartbreaking. Being by yourself is hard to deal with especially when you push others away. Follow this baseball team as they work to win games, struggle with life and school and learn to love!!!!

We get Mason and Dom’s story! Our grumpy pitcher and our sweet catcher. This was such a heartbreaking but heartwarming story. You ache for Mason’s loneliness and utter fear of rejection. I absolutely loved seeing how their relationship progresses and developed. And Dom’s family was everything!

Moving!!!

This book will do things to you that one should prepare for. I screamed at the speakers, cursed them, and it’s AWESOME! It literally tore me up, had me crying, laughing, smiling, and really relating on a personal level with Mason McLain’s character. I truly enjoyed this book and you’d be crazy not to listen to it. I highly recommend not only because it’s an amazing story, but has the best narrator on audible. Iggy Toma is my favorite! Great read all around!!!

Kale Williams and Iggy Toma are a great pair to narrate this series. these first time gay couples are so cute and it's fun to get to know them.

Fabulous!

Loved this story so much! I could hardly wait for Hone Plate to come out in audio after listening to Bat Boy and I wasn't disappointed. Loved the main characters and the supporting cast as well. Great character development and the excellent narration brought it home. I love baseball and having that as the backdrop for this romance was familiar and cozy. Christina Lee always delivers heartfelt love stories with the perfect amount of heat and sizzle. I highly recommend This series.

A little cheesy overall… but it was still really cute. I liked that they kept in the family homophobia as this is a real struggle MANY in the LGBTQIA+ community can relate to

Girard and Macclain

these two will stay with you forever. macclain has to deal with so much just to even be able to smile at a man. it's a surprise he's not even more in his head tbh, and than you have kind patient Girard who is his perfect match. beautiful story.

LOVE THEIR LOVE

Ughhh the tension between Girard and Maclain will have you salivating for more interactions. You can’t help but have this soft spot for Maclain and love Girard even more for constantly be there for him. I knew in Book One : Bat Boy when these where mentioned I wanted to know there story and ugh Christina Lee didn’t disappoint!

Girard and Maclain

I enjoyed this, Girard was so patient with Maclain and I loved how he cared for him, he observed and asked a ton of questions to get to know him better. All the little details like the candy and the bee were really cute. I have one complaint though, I needed more of that happily ever after, I wanted to see more of Maclain being happy with his new found family
