My final baseball season with the Easton U Pirates feels bittersweet. I'd like to go out on a high note, graduate, and focus on the family business. But a certain pitcher is making senior year a challenge. Not only because Maclain is stubborn as hell, but because he makes me feel things I never have about another guy. I'll be graduating college this year, which also means the end of baseball, a sport I've played my entire life. It feels like a significant chapter is coming to a close, leaving behind a void I'm unwilling to face. Something else I don't want to face? I love baseball and this book!!!
This is the 2nd book and I really enjoyed both of them. The narration by both guys was so good. McClain’s struggle is heartbreaking. Being by yourself is hard to deal with especially when you push others away. Follow this baseball team as they work to win games, struggle with life and school and learn to love!!!!

Mase had me crying!
I love that sweet boy! This is a very slow burn and honestly a realistic (but happy) ending! I feel in love with these two, I wish got more tome both them as a couple at the end but it was good nonetheless.

Kale Williams and Iggy Toma are a great pair to narrate this series. these first time gay couples are so cute and it's fun to get to know them.

Moving!!!
This book will do things to you that one should prepare for. I screamed at the speakers, cursed them, and it’s AWESOME! It literally tore me up, had me crying, laughing, smiling, and really relating on a personal level with Mason McLain’s character. I truly enjoyed this book and you’d be crazy not to listen to it. I highly recommend not only because it’s an amazing story, but has the best narrator on audible. Iggy Toma is my favorite! Great read all around!!!

Angsty but heartfelt
Emotional story, I actually teared up a few times. a bit angsty for me, but characters were working through a lot of hard stuff so I get that.
I liked the first book better, but this was still a great listen

Fabulous!
Loved this story so much! I could hardly wait for Hone Plate to come out in audio after listening to Bat Boy and I wasn't disappointed. Loved the main characters and the supporting cast as well. Great character development and the excellent narration brought it home. I love baseball and having that as the backdrop for this romance was familiar and cozy. Christina Lee always delivers heartfelt love stories with the perfect amount of heat and sizzle. I highly recommend This series.
