I’ve read ALL of Theodora Taylor’s books, so to say that I am a HUGE fan is an understatement. I’m waiting with bated breath for the next audio book because Clementine Dove brings all of these wonderful characters to life BEAUTIFULLY!

I liked it.

I grew to like the Mason character. I was really put off but how he grew to be a better person was great. I think that really made the story for me.

Epilogue is corny and cringey.

Why take the time to craft this story and create these characters only to drop the ball and ruin the flow with that stupid epilogue. Take the time to Respect and love your story to the very end..

The story is great, the author ruined the epilogue

I’ve read this book once and listened to it 3 times, it’s my favourite book from this author, but my goddess she RUINED the epilogue. I think the more I listen to the book the more irritated with the author I become.

The grown, the love, the story, was so good. I think both June and Mason deserved better than what the author gave them at the end. I think the reader deserved more because you actually became enthralled with them as people. As lovers. To take away a moment that was so important (and for the author to insert herself) was something more than selfish.

Definitely read the story, but I warn you to stop before the epilogue because it will literally make you want to throw hands with the author.
