His unexpected Luna(The Unexpected Universe) ~~~ I went into this book thinking I knew exactly what kind of story I was getting… and MC Perry proved me wrong in the best way possible. His Unexpected Luna pulled me in fast and didn’t let go. Between reading on Kindle and listening on Audible, I was completely immersed, and honestly, it was exactly what I needed to unwind and keep my sanity when I wasn’t teaching.



This story delivers strong characters, emotional depth, and a fated-mates vibe that actually feels earned. The main characters aren’t perfect, and that’s what makes them work. There’s tension, hesitation, and that slow realization that fate doesn’t always show up when you expect it ~ but when it does, it changes everything. The romance builds naturally, with just the right mix of vulnerability and strength.



The world-building is solid without being overwhelming, which I appreciated. MC Perry sets the stage beautifully, letting the supernatural elements enhance the story rather than overpower it. And that Luna bond? Let’s just say it brought the emotions, the intensity, and a few moments that had me holding my breath.



The Audible narration deserves a mention because it truly brought the characters to life. Listening made the emotions hit harder, and switching between Kindle and Audible was seamless perfect for long days, late nights, and everything in between.



By the time I reached the ending, I was already invested in what comes next. This book does exactly what a first book in a series should do: hooks you, makes you care, and leaves you wanting more without feeling unfinished.



I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself ~ you won’t regret it.
