Harley Chase brings Sid and Dalton to life. The pacing is perfect and enjoyable to listen to.

Snark and Car Chases!

I am not sure what I enjoyed more, the bit of snark that was Sid our assassin, or just all the action and suspense! These two really were in a tight situation. One that required them to be on the run with a literal car chase! Mixed with this danger though Sid managed to keep me smiling with his snark and over top possessiveness. He is determined to make things right with Dalton. Nice chemistry and good single Dad family feels along with, well assassin family feels! And Harley Chase narrated that car "Chase "to perfection as well all the other obsessive tendencies!

More assassin-y goodness

Sid is given an assignment to take out someone from his past, though he keeps this information from Malik and goes AWOL to protect the man he hasn't seen since high school.

Dalton works for the FBI and is given a videotape of a top political figure engaging in a revolting act, which leads to exposing a seedy underbelly of wealthy politicians. When they find out Dalton has evidence against them, they send multiple organizations to take him out.

The story follows Sid as he tries desperately to protect Dalton from the various assassins on their tail.

I was pretty happy with Sid's story, though some of it was over-the-top (a lot of destruction and death by Sid alone, kind of giving off overpowered/superhuman vibes a time or two).

Favorite quote/scene--------------

"I may be a killer, but I’m not a fucking monster who cares about nothing. Now, stop asking me why and accept my damn help.”

My body sagged, and I nodded. “Okay.”

Sid’s frown turned into a smirk. “Obedient. I like it.”

“And you just had to ruin it.”

He stood straight and shrugged. “What can I say? It’s part of my charm.”

Dalton resists Sid for quite a while, so it's a slow burn. There are many TW's, and you should take them seriously: specifically somewhat detailed SA.

The narration is on point: Harley Chase does an amazing job of giving life to Sid and Dalton!

Loved this!

Wow, this series just keeps getting better and better! Sid and Dalton's book was a wild and crazy ride that I'm so here for! I was captivated right from the start and Harley Chase's performance was fantastic! I listened to this in one sitting it was so good! I'm really looking forward to Easton’s book. I highly recommend this book and series, but check CW due to heavy themes.

Great listen

I really enjoyed this listen. Harley Chase did a phenomenal job per usual to bring Sid and Dalton’s characters to life. This story is pretty fast paced and exciting.

Fantastic

I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The narrator brings the story alive and fills the characters in the book.

My favorite in the series so far!

Harley Chase knocks it out of the park again! I loved this series when I read it, and having him bring these characters to life absolutely just makes it that much better! I love how he kept the accents from from the other family members intact when they made an appearance as well. 5 out of 5 stars hands down! Great, captivating story and amazing narriation!

Sometimes you just need a do over!

This was so good! It’s a little on lighter side but keeps its darker elements and stays inline with the overall series. I loved the second chance aspect of it, learning his history with Dalton brought something different to the story and gave Sid a more softer side than we’re used to. Harley Chase was great per usual and the plot kept me engaged the entire time. I’m looking forward to diving into Easton’s book!

Harley Chase is amazing

Once again, Harley delivers a flawless performance! I could listen to him all day, every day.
He’s so talented and versatile, bringing each character to life and giving them their own unique personalities.
Courtney and Harley are my favorite M/M duo, Courtney writes them, and Harley makes them come alive!

Boyscout

I have a tendency to start a series right dab smack of the middle 😂and this one is no different. The book is between Sid and Dalton. I am SUCH a sucker for a MM book and I realized the first two books in this series is also MM so I will definitely going back to read the rest.

I absolutely ADORE Sid, his humor, and persistence on keeping Dalton is hot. He gives no fucks that Dalton is combative and resistant in the beginning he still gets his way. Sid will do anything to protect Dalton and Owen, even going against his family and Easton. And as he said “I’ll do it all over again.”

Dalton learns the hard way that not everything is black & white. There is a whole lot of grey area and he has to learn to not only accept that, but accept the fact that not only does he falls for an assassin, but come to terms with his new reality, when his life goes from bad to worse with revelations.

One thing that Dalton never falters on once he trusts Sid, is that Sid will always come for him and Owen, and Sid will put Dalton and Owen’s life before his own.

I can’t wait to get my hands on Easton’s book to come out on audio! I just know it will be just as amazing as Harley Chase did for Sid & Dalton
