Glad I didn't give up on this story

I was looking for a wholesome Regency Mystery Romance and found this book by an Author and Narrator I did not know.
It took me a while to get into the story and in the end found it to be worth sticking with it. The narrator was good and the story had a number of surprises and overall was a good mystery.

So so slow…

Very slow. Very clean. Very well done too.
Well written.
Well narrated.
Wholesome.
No heat at all.
I almost didn’t see the twist coming.
