Beyond defeating the thief, paying my mortgage, and expanding my lair, I’ll have to deal with a group of wannabe heroes trying to take over the town. It’ll take every bit of magic I have, and a bit of insane courage, to defeat these perils and protect my new home.

If I’m lucky, I’ll still be in one piece to enjoy date night once this is over!

Waiting on next one

Looking forward to next one wondering when mc will get better secondary class looking forward to wedding and to see if mc gets more girls

I like the book and will get the next one, but

I like the book and the narration which would have been 5 stars ticked me off because of the mixing. If you are walking, driving, or working, it is extremely difficult to hear a two ? of the female characters, If you try to find happy spot to hear everyone, the System's narration leaves your ears ringing, and the MC is that buddy that is yelling half the time when he talks. The best place to listen to this book is a quiet room. Please fix it.

I love this series

Great content and continuation of the 1st book, I’m a fan of the movies House and House 2 so this series fills me with the kind of joy only a true fan boy could have. M.E. Thorne has done a magnificent job and wonderful weaving of his imagination into this story and hope to see more from this series.

This better not be the end.

This is such an awesome series.
I definitely do not want it to end so soon.
The story picks up where book 1 left off and we are introduced to new characters and challenges.
The only thing I could think of for this story to be better, is if the MC could share power with his harem after they bond. But that may be too much.
I'm sure hoping there's a book 3 soon.
I'm giving this book 8.5 out of 5 stars.

Interesting book

This was an interesting book but unfortunately it is not as good as the first book in this series

Needs to be re edited

I have the Alexa studios and subwoofer I use to listen to music and books and level 6.5 I kinda high. Enough to be heard all over the house easily. Well with this book I can not hear what the female narrator is saying. Please fix this book.

update it sounds great on macbook. Not as fun but I can hear everyone clearly. Not sure if fixed or Alexa just can’t get it done. I swear they dumbed her down about a year and a half ago.

best volume and the first volume were amazing, needs to have a third volume or more the author and the narrators did an amazing work

First one was decent.enough, but holy crap the sex scenes are worse than trash you find online.
