While I’m on chapter 4 the audible voice isn’t appropriate for this book. It is often behind, it captions as chapter 2 when I’m actually in chapter 3. I also can’t find any information on the author. The content is needed it’s just a shame it’s not being received by the intended audience.

What stood out the most is the voice it’s not for this story

The AI chosen to be the narrator was not a good decision. I was distracted based off the unrealistic demeanor in which it read as well as some words not being pronounced and sounding like a glitched recording. Some of the activities presented were repetitive as well as excessive in a few chapters and I have not been able to locate this author for authenticity. I seen the title and was interested in how this may identify with my current healing journey. Instead of researching first before I purchased, I wasted a credit because overall I was disappointed. There are some great points given in the notes I have taken however with the chapters not lining up with the AI reading and I had to slow the audio even more for me to understand what was said, it took me way longer to read this book than other self help books with the same number of hours. I will stay away from specific ethnic group books until I research it fully first. I was tricked when listen to sample thinking it was the standard AI at the beginning of most books narrating and was disappointed that is the actual narrator. Audible if this is not supposed to be, please update so at least the chapters are titled and the narrator is a living human being. I would not recommend if you prefer an actual person while on your healing journey to listen to.
