The Antiracist Business Book: An Equity Centered Approach to Work, Wealth, and Leadership is the business book for the modern world. Trudi Lebrón has spent the last decade working as a DEI and impact coach for businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs. And what she learned over that time was that making a lasting change wasn't about fixing old systems; it was about building a new one. In this seminal work, Trudi lays out a plan for all businesses, leaders, entrepreneurs, and coaches to remix business, so that equity and impact become synonymous with profit and power.

What would it be like to live in a well-rested world? Far too many of us have claimed productivity as the cornerstone of success. Brainwashed by capitalism, we subject our bodies and minds to work at an unrealistic, damaging, and machine‑level pace—feeding into the same engine that enslaved millions into brutal labor for its own relentless benefit. In Rest Is Resistance, Tricia Hersey, aka the Nap Bishop, casts an illuminating light on our troubled relationship with rest and how to imagine and dream our way to a future where rest is exalted.

The world, our bodies, and our minds are in a constant state of flux. They are a stream of ever-mutating, emergent patterns. Rather than steel ourselves against such change, Emergent Strategy teaches us to map and assess the swirling structures and to read them as they happen, all the better to shape that which ultimately shapes us, personally and politically.

In The Light We Carry, she opens a frank and honest dialogue with readers, considering the questions many of us wrestle with: How do we build enduring and honest relationships? How can we discover strength and community inside our differences? What tools do we use to address feelings of self-doubt or helplessness? What do we do when it all starts to feel like too much?

The tragedies and reckonings around racism that are rocking the country have created a specific crisis for parents, educators, and other caregivers: How do we talk to our children about racism? How do we teach children to be antiracist? How are kids at different ages experiencing race? How are racist structures impacting children? How can we inspire our children to avoid our mistakes, to be better, to make the world better? These are the questions Ibram X. “Can I kiss you?” It was two months before the world premiere of Juno, and Elliot Page was in his first ever queer bar. The hot summer air hung heavy around him as he looked at her. And then it happened. In front of everyone. A previously unfathomable experience. Here he was on the precipice of discovering himself as a queer person, as a trans person. Getting closer to his desires, his dreams, himself, without the repression he’d carried for so long. But for Elliot, two steps forward had always come with one step back.

Resumen del Editor
Heal Your Way Forward is a seminal work in antiracism, guiding White and White-identifying folks to utilize activism for intergenerational healing.
In 2018, Myisha T. Hill created the @ckyourprivilege handle on Instagram to undo the harm created between White women and women of the global majority. After years of living in the micro- and macro-aggressions of White culture, Myisha was tired of staying silent. But she wanted to do more than fight back—she wanted to heal forward.
"Myisha T. Hill is a rare educator who comes from a place of compassion and profound emotional insight. She is leading a revolution of mind, heart, and soul, one that she now continues in her highly anticipated book, Heal Your Way Forward. Myisha's work changes how we experience the world by helping us understand our place within it. This book shows anyone interested in human liberation the way to heal, to hope, and to become true advocates and co-conspirators—not just for justice and change, but for the future of who we are as humans." (Anna Paquin, actress and producer)
In just over three short years, Check Your Privilege and Myisha's personal platform have amassed more 750K followers on Instagram and became hubs for interracial activism during the Great White Awakening of 2020. But like many antiracism activists, Myisha saw the activism abate after the election of President Biden.
Heal Your Way Forward: The Co-Conspirator's Guide to an Antiracist Future is the trumpet call to White and White-identifying folks, guiding them to recognize their antiracism work as intergenerational healing. In her first major book, Myisha asks the most critical question of antiracism work: What do we want the world to look like in seven generations?
This book is her answer, but also, it's a tactical, practical guide for learning (and unlearning), healing (and feeling through the hurt), and committing (and recommitting) to real change and a reparative future.
This is the book Myisha's 750,000 followers have been waiting for—a marriage of personal story, antiracist handbook, and an emotional plea to all people to be the change today so we can heal the world for tomorrow.
In this seminal work, Myisha offers listeners the ultimate reason to engage in activism—to create a better world not just for our babies, but for our babies' babies—and a clear strategy to change the future and nature of interracial activism by:
Sustaining the Great White Wakening by discovering the sweet spot of shame and vulnerability
- Making room for White tears
- Developing radical listening and lifelong learning
- Practicing the great act of recommitment
- And building a reparative future
As Myisha shares, the more you fail forward, the more you heal your way forward, and the better we can heal the future together.

Most importantly, how do we do any of this in age-appropriate ways? While a great deal of public discussion exists in regard to the impact of race and racism on children of color, meaningful dialogue about and resources for understanding the impact of race on white children are woefully absent. Onward tackles the problem of educator stress, and provides a practical framework for taking the burnout out of teaching. Stress is part of the job, but when 70 percent of teachers quit within their first five years because the stress is making them physically and mentally ill, things have gone too far. Unsurprisingly, these effects are highest in difficult-to-fill positions such as math, science, and foreign languages, and in urban areas and secondary classrooms - places where we need our teachers to be especially motivated and engaged.

Historia
Onward tackles the problem of educator stress, and provides a practical framework for taking the burnout out of teaching. Stress is part of the job, but when 70 percent of teachers quit within their first five years because the stress is making them physically and mentally ill, things have gone too far. Unsurprisingly, these effects are highest in difficult-to-fill positions such as math, science, and foreign languages, and in urban areas and secondary classrooms - places where we need our teachers to be especially motivated and engaged.

Historia
What does it really mean to be a grown-up in today's world? We assume that once we "get it together" with the right job, marry the right person, have children, and buy a home, all is settled and well. But adulthood presents varying levels of growth and is rarely the respite of stability we expected. Turbulent emotional shifts can take place anywhere between the ages of 35 and 70 when we question the choices we've made, realize our limitations, and feel stuck - commonly known as the "midlife crisis".

Heal Your Way Forward
I started following @ckyourpriviledge on Instagram about a year ago, and I am so glad I did, or I may not have read this book. Myisha takes you on a personal journey of her own awakening to help lead others to dismantle white privilege.
No matter where you are in your anti racism journey, Heal Your Way Forward is a must read and a book I will be purchasing in a hard copy as well!

Great concept, falls flat
I was very excited about this book. I'm still excited about the topic and her story. But this book fell flat for me more than it fired me up. Unfortunately, then narrator also just did not fit the bill for me, personally -- maybe because I had seen and heard the author before I purchased this audiobook, but it felt more like she was reading than narrating. There we're also some mispronunciations, which when you are reading the actual book yourself don't happen or get noticed. Perhaps when life slows down a bit for me and I have more time to actually sit down and read the book myself I may enjoy and appreciate it more.
