Very good
This was excellent. It was the right level of spooky with creepy moments that I was looking for, but without feeling extreme anxiety throughout the entire book. I am relatively new to this genre, only a couple of years reading it compared to other ones, but there are some books. I literally will stay up all night to finish or have to google the way that it ends because I can’t sleep Halfway through it. Lol. This book is not that way. There are some super creepy moments, realistic, villains, and supernatural to make it fun. I like it scared me several times, but I was able to set it down and function and complete it over a period of several days. to the author! I am moving onto book 2

Love it!
Great story and amazing narrator! I live near Charleston, SC where this book takes place and the surrounding towns, roads, descriptions of places is spot on. For those that don’t know what a Palmetto Bug is will after this book. I think the author and I have the same Palmetto Bug phobia.

I really enjoyed this audiobook.
I am VERY saddened that books 2, 3, and 4 are NOT available on Audible. I would love to indulge in each book of the series. i can no longer read holding a book. I must jump to book 5 at this point in the audible library and it is beyond disappointing.
