Loved it

This ended up being such a cute story. I really actually loved it a lot

Wonderful narration. Great acting and timing, this had me laughing out loud over and over! The story is fabulous. This is a must. If you’re reading this? Go for it. You will be glad you did!

Language

Disliked the bad language. There's no reason for it. It wouldn't change the story. Cute story line

I really enjoyed this audiobook. Highly recommend it great romance comedy. This was my first audiobook ever.

Sweet and funny

Everything! The narration was great too. I’ve read this book twice now, and I might read it again.

The plot

I loved every second of this book. So far, I have not come across a storyline quite like this. This one had me assuming one thing and then changing my assumptions. I liked that that I wasn’t able to tell exactly how the book would play out, right off the bat.

Naomi and Luca have been pen pals since 5th grade. A class project that they continued for two decades. Naomi’s letter starts out sweet. Luca’s start out grumpy and rude. BUT because 5th grader Naomi signs her letters “Love, Naomi”. Luca decides to also “Love, Luca”. Along the way it sometimes changes to XOXO

Their letters continue through major life changes, moves across the country, stints in the Marines, college degrees until one day Luca doesn’t answer her mail.

Two years later she gets mail from Luca at the TV station where she’s a meteorologist. Trouble is there is no return address so she can’t answer his mail.

Naomi is now obsessed with finding Luca. She and her best friend (Ann) take several weekend trips to his past addresses asking neighbors if they know where he now lives.

Their letters will have you laughing til your sides hurt. This book is a cute rom-com complete with two kittens and a deaf puppy! I highly recommend you read this book! Hard to believe this was the authors debut novel. I loved it! Read to find out what happens when Naomi finally finds Luca AND where she finds him!

It gave me “You’ve Got Mail” vibes and a tad bit of “Gossip Girl”.

Very good!

It was very cute story with a little bit of spice, very good as an introduction to the world of spicy novels. Has a slice of life feeling and a good ending.
