Steady and slow

Interesting about proabition but drug on too long! I loved Glass castle it is in my top 5 ever!

Really enjoyed this book. I found the storyline and characters interesting and never dull. Loved the narration too.

I enjoyed Hang the Moon very much. The story was so interesting and characters were real. The author narrated and did an excellent job.

Very Entertaining

Full of twist and turns, it kept me wanting to find out more. The end was not predictable but was satisfying.

Jeannette Walls books are always good.

I liked this book ! It was historical fiction. some true events that happened during this time.

A little too slow

Book was a little to slow at first got better towards the end. Felt like it was too detailed at first and then not detailed enough. Would recommend to people that like American historical fiction. Wanted more from the ending.

Very interesting storyline. A wonderful blend of history and fiction. The author/narrator made the story come alive.

Good book except for the narration

I was halfway through the audiobook and found myself very irritated by the narration. The cadence and accents were driving me nuts, so I looked at the credits to find out who the narrator was. I love Jeannette Wall's writing, but this book definitely needs a professional narrator not the author.

Story was just meh and the narration by the author was poor. There wasn’t appropriate intonation

Her characters are so vivid and real, and she depicts so well the struggles and triumphs of many from the time periods she writes from. Truly an enjoyable novel.
