First time reader of Clay Edison series

As a native Californian, I enjoyed the familiarity of the setting of the story. Also have been a fan of all the Alex Delaware novels, and this was a breath of fresh air!

Jonathan and Jesse do it again!

I love the Clay Edison novels and this one did not disappoint. The twists and turns kept me engaged. I cannot wait to read more of the same!

The park

There was too much unnecessary wordy minutiae for my taste. The book was a struggle to listen to.

Lots of plot twists

I enjoyed the book mostly because I grew up in the area but it was painful to hear so many locations mispronounced. The narrator should have been more diligent in his research prior to recording.

There seemed to be several places were editing was done and it was noticeable.

there are too many characters and none really made me care....I'm still confused on some parts not my favorite by kellerman

Not one of my favorites

It's one of those books that have a lot of miscellaneous minor characters that you might have to pay attention to later. I wasn't all that interested in the book because it didn't grab me right away. The protagonist is somewhat wimpy, raising their new daughter the way his strong willed wife wants her raised. Also, both of them pawning her off to others when their jobs require their attention, seeming to me that is a fact that should have been handled before birth. I'm not sure I like any of the characters.

Very enjoyable

This is the 2nd book I’ve read from father/son team. It kept me interested and didn’t want it to end. Thank you

Love this series

I have really enjoyed all three books in this series and the narrator does a great job! Hope there will be more to come.
