it's fine.

I'm a bit biased as I grew up in Humboldt county. This book gave a reasonable explanation for some of the strangeness of rural Humboldt. Plot was fine, characters and development were fine too.

Narrator was fine.

Nothing wrong here. finished the book easily.

Great character development

I really love this book. I live in Sonoma County, so I related to the descriptions of the absolute beauty of the land. It’s entirely believable that people got scammed.

I followed the series and the first one is still the best, to me, but, I still am reading through series, as I did say, Kellerman, and Justin. Kellerman.

Story kept my interest.

I liked the narration and the wit of the main character. The story line kept my interest.

Just good fun

Loved having a Nor- Cal location and characters with a sense of humor. A thoroughly enjoyable read on these 100 degree stuck in the AC days.

The way Clay keeps going to find details

Started out slow for me but picked up and I couldn’t stop. I look forward to more of Clay Edison! Perhaps a cross over with Alex and Milo!

The Best in the Series

The realism of the dialogue was great. Regina is a character I hope to see much more of in first books.

I love the character he is so down to earth and relatable, I wish the kellerman’s wrote more frequent stories about Clay. Loved it 😊
