The work

I find this book to be an extremely great introduction to Gurdjieff’s concept of the work. This was very eye opening and I’m so grateful I listened to this. I will absolutely be listening to it again. The concepts and ideas stated in this book almost make too much sense, and it’s frightening to my ego to hear them. I would highly recommend this book to anybody on the path of self discovery & development, spirituality, self transformation, and truth. I can only imagine what life could be like if all these principles were valued and APPLIED by the student. I now consider myself to be a student of Gurdjieff, and I’m excited to begin practicing these principles myself. Nobody is going to do the work for you, and this is a good book to present somebody with the tools to begin this work.

A good book to start learning about Gurdjieff and the fourth way. Simple and easy to go through considering the complexity of the subject.

It does its job well

It is supposed to a beginner's guide to a complex philosophy and way to change one's level being. I think it does its job well.
