It was difficult to glean insights into stoicism through the narration. Clearly mismatched for the content.

Excellent & Informative

I'm very pleased with the depth of the information and the ease of understanding it.

Title represents the meat of the book

Overall the book is exactly what the title states. It does lack more in depth examples of points made.
Bummed about the statements made about white males, in the context the writer incorporated it.
However, still would highly recommend the book to anyone trying to grasp an understanding of stoicism.

Fluff Overload!

Every other sentence either contains the word stoicism or stoic for six hours! I couldn't take it anymore.

Great Book

I’m new to stoicism and already know that I love it. I hope to learn as much as I can and put it to practice in my life for many years to come. Really enjoyed the last few chapters. I will listen to this book over and over again.

Super easy to consume.

Well done. The author & reader did a great job. The material was useful and very easy to understand. The reading was engaging. I highly recommend this title to anyone who wants an easy introduction to stoicism.
