Worth the wait

I love JA Huss’ crazy dark romances. I am so glad that writers like Huss have a river of ideas and plots and places in their heads and some otherworldly muse pours those stories onto the page. When I first started reading Huss there was a large body of work that I read voraciously. Now I have to wait but maybe that’s a good thing because I don’t do much else when I’m reading this author. I reread the first two books of this series on Friday and Saturday and just finished listening to the third Gorgeous Misery on Audible. This book does have a cliffhanger so you may want to wait until the last book releases to read this one. I couldn’t do it and I’m just going to live with the anticipation. One thing about a Huss serial: It starts out good and just gets better and more interesting and complex and the journey is so satisfying.

Get ready for your mind to be blown!

Ever since I started the company series, I wanted a Nick Tate book and boy did this one deliver!! I wanted answers to so many questions, and you definitely get them but they arent what you expect at all. Cant wait for the next book!!

Excellent!

Once again JA Huss has made me wonder what in the world I just listened to and shake my head in wonder at the intricate storylines and plot twists that her devious mind seems to weave by magic. In a dark world where nothing is as it seems I’m constantly amazed at how she transforms immoral characters into friends, lovers and men and women of integrity in a shadow world where it seems no morality exists. You will fall for Nick and Wendy and fall in love with the narration performances of Joe Arden and Hathaway Lee who were excellent in their roles. I love this world JA Huss has created and I can’t wait to find out what happens next!

OMG! The feels you will experience when reading this book!

I sort of expected for this third book in the series to pick up where book 2 left off but this is not the way this author weaves a story. You are taken on a wonderful journey that makes you question what you thought you understood, accept and delight in new truths and yearn for more information. If you don’t like cliff hangers and having to wait for the next book to drop to get answers then wait to start this book. Gorgeous Misery is a wonderful experience in the crazy world of child assassins. A glint of hope and love that keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat the entire time. Julie A Huss has done it again, if you have never had the pleasure of reading one of her books then it is about time you did. Hang on and enjoy the ride!

TWISTED TORTUROUS PERFECTION

You can’t go into a JA Huss story and expect conventional, predictable or ordinary.. instead you’re instantly entwined, snared, anxious, challenged, intrigued, excited, committed and utterly under the word witchcraft that JA Huss masterfully creates. And in Nick and Wendy’s story it’s all there.. the history, the secrets, the lies, the shocking truths, the emotional, the Company roots, the screwed-up main and secondary characters.. and the intricately woven web that ties them all together. There’s a nearly fourteen year age gap but it’s not an age gap romance.. there’s nineteen years of knowing each other but it’s far more than a friend-to-lovers story.. it’s deep, cryptic and layered but it’s oh so much more complicated than that. And I can’t get enough of this twisted world.. of the deeply damaged characters.. and their challenges as they try to stay sane, live and love.

Great narration too by all three A list narrators.. Hathaway, Joe and Troy, who gave and gave and delivered bitter-sweet perfection.

Worth a credit? A big fat YES.. and an even bigger fatter M O R E please.

one of my favorite characters ever, this book is all about love and emotional survival, he’s the gift that keeps on giving, we see a side of him that we never seen before, we saw Wendy on a different light and it all comes to love. Julie keeps shocking us with her amazing mind, on the edge of our seats till the last page.

Miss Huss you are a great author and your fantasy is spot on. Anyway as I’m fan and I love anything you write about this your company world, just keep it coming we on this side of the world stand by you 🥰🥰🥰🥰 good job more grace to your elbows.
One thing more don’t ever change from picking the narrators of your books 📚 they really do bring the story alive 👏👏👏👏 great narrators, great author good job well done.
