God chose us!

Very raw and transparent, confirming what God had already revealed to me! Get out of your own way and walk Godfidently! With the understanding that you didn’t choose yourself!

Called but not carried

wanted to like this book. I really did. The title, God Chose Me, carries weight prophetic weight. As someone who knows what it means to be marked, set apart, and assigned, I opened these pages expecting oil. Instead, I found a lot of potential but very little power.

The message is solid in theory: God uses the unlikely, the overlooked, the broken. But the delivery? It lacked depth. The narrative felt surface level, and the storytelling didn’t carry the burden I expected from someone claiming divine selection. There were moments that could’ve gone deeper, could’ve pierced but instead they skimmed. For a message about calling, there wasn’t enough cost. For a testimony about purpose, it rarely felt personal.

Honestly, it felt more like a motivational pep talk than a prophetic charge. And while I can respect the author’s intention, I couldn’t ignore how the writing leaned heavily on cliché rather than conviction. The anointing isn’t just in what you say it’s in how deeply you’ve lived it. And this book didn’t carry that lived-in weight.

That said, I’m not here to cancel anyone’s voice. If this was their first step in obedience, I honor that. But from a reader who eats meat and not milk, it didn’t feed me.

Bottom line: God Chose Me might resonate with someone just stepping into faith or needing a basic reminder that they’re seen. But for those walking in warfare, carrying mantles, or discerning the times it may feel more like fluff than fire.

I pray the next release carries more oil, more depth, and more surrender. Because being chosen is serious and Heaven deserves our whole story, not just the headlines.

Transformative

I have had the pleasure of watching the author preach sermons. This book is in keeping with his style/vibe. I love that he is vulnerable. Vulnerability was not something I was accustomed to growing up in church. It’s the most human thing one can do as a Christian. He nailed it here.

I would have never thought a mere pivot from BUT to AND would have given me such freedom! It’s pushed me forward in such a powerful way… thank you for writing what I was waiting to hear!

God Chose Me!

I absolutely love this book. its was extremely encouraging. Its helped me put things in perspective. While, i fo not know Pastor Charles, Iam so very proud of him for writing this book. It's a breathe of fresh air. it is the most vulnerable and transparent book I've ever read from a fellow believer. The world needs this book. After reading this I have an understanding that God chose me! This book is one of those books that I will read often. It puts an end to comparison, the theft of joy. It shuts the door on insecurity. It reminded me that I was chosen for my assignments. I am loved at my lowest and with God I am unstoppable.

This most definitely has change my outlook on God

Being that I’ve always had to find my own confidence and I’ve been put down a lot of my life for me being myself as well as me always thinking that God is mad at me or I’m worthless. This is made me understand that God has chosen me to be here where I am right now and that he loves me too much to keep me where I am.

It’s Never Too Late to come Home

I absolutely love the way Charles has come through the words and off the pages into the real world! I love how Open and Honest he is! I didn’t know there was a Home for me for 34 years of my life but now more than ever I believe that it is never too late to come back Home to The Kingdom!

Amazing!

Charles really brings you in from the very beginning. I sobbed within the first 10 min as he shared some of the darkest parts of his testimony. What a blessing it is that God Chose Us! This book is transformative and very uplifting.

Eye opener

This book puts language to a lot of our inner dialogue. This book is vital in battling the insecurities of life. You will feel more confidence and aware after reading it. Great book for young adults who anyone needs a confidence boost.
