When Cody encourages Bree to join in a Derby car race for local youth, she finds a way to channel her grief into something good - and she likes that her mom and Cody are starting to become friends - or maybe something more.

Cody invites Amber and Bree to see him race, but as they watch Cody narrowly escape a devastating crash, she realizes she can't lose another person in her life. It's better to be alone than feel that type of grief again. But when Amber hits rock-bottom, she cries out to God and asks for help. With her faith, her life, her family, and her heart hanging in the balance, Amber is forced to decide between the broken road she knows so well and trusting that God will provide a new path.

Based on the Rascal Flatts song, God Bless the Broken Road is a moving, heart-stirring story about the power of faith to change a life.

Great Christian book. It really set my emotions loose. Gid is Great and we just need to let him in. Thank you for this.

Great Christian book.

I just finished listening to this book. It was a book of great tradgey...but shows God's great faithfulness through it all. Through all the hurts and anger...yet God remains faithful.
This is a clean read...and I highly recommend it to one and all!!

uplifting

This story was about loss about healing. For anyone that has had a loss this is a must read.

A Stressful Story

I did not like this book! In my mind the characters who were supposed to be supporting this widow had no redeeming qualities. As a Christian believer and a widow myself with a daughter I personally would have punched a couple of those characters at more than one place in the book. And no one ever has the right to remove a child from their parents without legal process. The fact that this was seen as acceptable by the other characters apparently the author is disgusting.I found it very stressful to listen to the actions of these characters being justified. And I would not recommend this book. It felt a little like it was written by someone who did not do their research about actual grieving and supportive community. Thank God I never endured what this grieving wife did at the hands of her judge mental friends and relatives, and had wise council to remove toxic people from my life! And for those who do make it to the end...walking int a church one time does not erase all of the problems!
