I Got the Job!

I'm turning 48 in a month! I was very nervous about applying for a new job after being at the same job my entire career. My employer laid off 45 people in an attempt to rehire at lower paying salaries. I missed the cut, but I might not have missed the next one. It was enough to make me look and see what jobs were available.
I followed the guidance in this book to a T. I asked great questions, and had great answers for even the questions I couldn't answer correctly. I wrote thank you notes, made eye contact, and showed tremendous self confidence, even through my nervousness.
I negotiated a 37% increase and some telework opportunities as well.
If not for this book, I would never have developed the fine details to be the candidate who stood out.
2 weeks into my new job and I've never been more satisfied. Thanks for creating such a wonderful tool!

Great interviewing book!

This is the first book I’ve ever read about interviewing and I’d have to say there’s no way I could imagine another book that will get me my next job. I’m really excited to use the tactics and techniques in my next interview and am looking forward to a success story!

Thought provoking and practical

Literally the best interview books I've listened to are this one and The Job Closer by Steve Dalton.

I recommend using both of them. They complement each other.

Both books have ways for you to brainstorm and organize your stories -- much better ways than I've tried to do.

I can't recommend these two books highly enough.

this book was amazingly interesting and informative for me. some things you know or think you know are clarified or debunked in the most straightforward manner. I would recommend this book to anyone having issues on interviews. it works.

Easy to Apply to any industry

Fantastic and easy to follow. I listened to this book probably 4 times before my last interview. I then actually recorded my interview so I could go back and review how well I did. It’s also notable to mention that I work in the spirits and beverage industry and was interviewing for a Bar Manager type of role, not your typical 9-5. The content in this book is presented in such a logical and thoughtful way that you can apply it to any field. Highly recommended.
