Resumen del Editor

It was supposed to be a fun break while school was out for the semester.

A chance meeting between Benjamin Draig and Martin "Marty" Ambrose suggests the potential for a great friendship. Both were with different groups of friends just outside of Moab, both on their way to hike through the mountains.

But then things went horribly wrong.

It's all Benjamin and Marty can do to stay alive when the earth opens beneath their feet, and they're swallowed by the mountain.

As a fire-spewing monster emerges and spreads its wings to blot out the sky, Benjamin and Marty learn that the comfortable illusion of the world they knew is gone. Everything has changed. Depending on the other for every second of their survival, they reach what looks like safety . . . then their entire world comes undone.

As the titanic monster takes to the sky, leaving behind the lair that has lain buried for millennia, the two men know what they have to do. They've got to brave the dangers of the dragon's lair and hope there's something to defeat the monster razing the country in fire and flames.

Otherwise, this new world is going to be a place where becoming a dragon's dinner is the better option.

Welcome colonizer sad you forgot this is

OK I'm coming back just for a side note this is a good series it gets better in the third book hanging the criticisms I'm giving are very valid but it is a good series Well colonizer you decided to write a book You forgot this is North America Not Europe not the Mediterranean but America If you hadn't been so lazy and had studied The native Americans of the regions in your research For this series you know they have their own mythologies there is a lot of ancient and beautiful lore surrounding North America and South America And In the first part of this book you forgot that I know it's a little harsh but as I'm reading this book I'm seeing that this author Shows that they are really good but doing what they did it cheapens the art If they had study they would've known that native Americans had their own type of dragon The type they were talking about in this book is more European And the scene with the statues was just Disrespectful and cringe-worthy Again for the reason that there's amazing animals and monsters in North American mythology there are so much better for that scene And would have fit in so much better people are gonna say no big deal well in this case it is a big deal the author shows they know how to write they show that they know how to create a world that Is satisfyingbut If you understand why I call them a colonizer You'll get just how much of a tragedy This author has committed Why I'm giving it only a 3.5 Yes they are a 5 star author but they're laziness when it came 2 Not choosing to embrace the mythology of the place they're trying to write about Is just wrong
