Masterpiece. Truly Exceptional

I’ve just finished this series, and it’s a masterpiece. Chefs Kiss! The world building, the intertwining stories of love, betrayal, war, intrigue…family. This series is SO masterfully done. The last book I cried while reading was Kingdom of Ash, and now this series. I don’t cry often while reading, but this series got me. I didn’t read the Furyk series, I need to, but I didn’t feel lost as to what was going on with those characters in this series.

The narrator is phenomenal! EXCEPTIONAL!! There are so many Characters and I sometimes forgot that every character was ONE person!

I read and listen to so many books and don’t always leave a review. I HAD to, HAD to leave a review. READ THIS SERIES. A.E. Rayne, thank you for this gift to readers.

# 6 is on Kindle? WTH!

I strongly recommend anyone starting this series start with the Furyk Series first. I have a new author to follow. I was on the edge of my seat most of this book! I can't recommend both series enough. Magic, sword fights, strange creatures, and for the first time, we got to see and understand what is happening with the God's.
I can believe Audible did not pick up book 6. guess I'll have to use that darn voice to speech...

Book 6 PLEASE!

Absolutely captivating story! Loving every minute of it! There's just one problem: Audible, where is Book 6? I also loved The Furyck Saga. Rayne has this way of pulling you in, and you just can't stop listening. I have spent many a late night trying to find a stopping point before bed, but there isn't one. You are always left in a state of suspense. She is an awesome writer, and I have found both series to be incredibly binge-worthy.

I loved each and every book. But very upset that the last book isn’t on audible as this is the only way I can listen to it

A.E. Rayne has quickly become one of my all-time favorite authors! This series has taken me through a range of emotions and feels. Having a FMC hero that hits all the marks of strong, smart, and skilled embodies being a book bad a$$.

Really good

So, it's a really, really good series, and I am on to the last book already. I really like how all of the storylines are coming together, and the layers are still peeling back, The narration is stellar! One thing that really struck me, though throughout the series, is that everybody has so much revenge in their hearts! War is all around in a GOT sort of scenario which means factions constantly kill each other yet they still hold grudges against those killing someone that they really loved. I just found that very interesting that the key driver of the plot lines involve revenge. That being said, I am still thoroughly enjoying all of the storylines. My heart just broke for Alice. She's been thru so much, but I'm sure she'll find her HEA.
