Recording skips and d see kinda robotic. Too bad- the book is really good and thought provoking

I was really enlightened to learn it’s okay to have many best friends for myself and my friends . I learned I don’t have to be someone’s everything . 😀

Good information

Overall this was worth the read and had valuable information; however, some of the chapters were repetitive and the narrator was dry. It might be better to get this as a physical book so you can see the references and worksheets.

Great read to get you connected

Shasta has enlightening points on what is hindering you from deepening connections. I've taken a few pointers away to help my existing (and potential new) connections. These are priceless tips that help me look in the mirror before pointing fingers at others.

I didn't finish it, but I still recommend it

The content of this book is invaluable to anyone interested in deepening friendships and making new friends faster and more effectively. I devoured the first 8 chapters of this book! I couldn't get enough! But after a while, I felt that the author began repeating her ideas over and over, just in different words. Perhaps I just for burned out on it, but I wasn't able to finish the book even though I tried multiple times. The narrator is hard to get used to. Her delivery feels dry and monotone at first, but after awhile it gets better. Even though I didn't finish the book, I have still shared it with two friends because the information I received even during the first few chapters was more than worth the price of the book.

Didn't Hold My Interest

I found myself occasionally zoning out while listening to this book, somewhat due to the context, and somewhat due to the monotone voice of the narrator. She almost sounded like a computer. There were a few small takeaways but it never pulled me in. I struggled to finish it. I think a different narrator might have helped to keep my interest.

A Perfect Gift

This book was so on point. It really made me think about my friendships, and I bought 4 hard copies as gifts.
