Amazing book
I adored this book once we got to them really having the dragons I could not stop listening and wanted to hid away until it was done. Romance was amazing world building is fascinating. I liked the narrator and how she tried to change her voice so you know which characters are talking. The male voice at the end I was not a huge fan of. But granted the switch caught me off guard after listening to 19+ hours of the female voice. Amazing 100% recommend.

Great story, awful narration
I don’t know why a narrator would record a book while sick, but the sound of the congestion/sick noises is absolutely disgusting and completely distracting. I absolutely loved this book and wanted to listed to it on my reread before Iron Flame came out, and regret spending an audible credit on this.

OH MY!!!!! THIS BOOK!
There is nothing like this. This book has me in a chokehold I listened to it in ONE DAY! I work, have a husband and 4 kids, THATS how good this book was that I just couldn’t stop listening!
What they say about the narration is true, she did have a cold and you can hear it during it but honestly it is NOT that bad, at least not enough for me to stop listening, again it is THAT good! AND THE CLIFFHANGER AT THE END! oh boy! I can’t wait for the next one!
Also, I’m a sucker for Teddy, he can do no wrong in my eyes, so I can tolerate the cold of Rebecca, JUST so I can hear Teddy.
Overall this book is 100/10! No question, and I will cut a b*tch if somebody says otherwise.

Top read of the year!
Holy shit, this book was fantastic. There are no slow parts to get through. It's good the whole time, from start to finish! The perfect balance of predictability and uncertainty. This is absolutely my top read of the year so far, and I suspect that it will still be by the end of the year. I cannot wait for the next one!

When is book 2 out?
Wow. Just wow. Best world building I’ve read in a while. I’m eagerly awaiting the next book!
