The characters

The characters were really believable but it feels like somehow not enough happened and a lot happened a the same time idk.

Lovely voice and kept me totally captivated. Looking forward to hearing her on the sequel book.

LOVED IT

This is the first book I have read by Brigid Kemmerer. I was so pleasantly surprised on top of the characters being awesome the 3 narraters were amazing which here lately has been far in between. This is a must listen/read!

Loved the characters

I loved the first series that introduced these characters (curse breaker) so I’m glad to get more of them, but from a different pov. With more Tyco and more storyline from the villages that seemed to be briefly skipped over in the first series. I fell in love with the character development and the strong characters and then this set of characters were just as amazing. I’m so happy to get more from it.

As always, Kemmerer doesn’t disappoint

Not only is the narration perfection, but the storyline and pacing is notable. This is the 4th book of Ms. Kemmerer that I’ve read and I’m purchasing my 5th (the sequel to this) immediately! Soooo good! I can’t wait to see how she continues the story of these amazingly complex and compelling characters.

Surprisingly lovely!

I went into this a bit blind but it was a beautifully written romance, which I had not been expecting but was pleased to discover.

Brigid Kemmerer gets better with every book.

This marks the 6th book by her I’ve read. The Cursebreaker series I needed a push in the middle to get through. But overall, she writes amazing characters and conflicts from both sides that make you think. I always love the multiple POVs and vivid descriptions that are too distracting. If you liked this one and haven’t read her other stuff, HIGHLY recommend.

Spectacular!

This audiobook was spectacular. I wasn't crazy about the first three books, but oh am I glad I read them for this one. The writing is beautiful, and the characters were so amazingly well rounded. I listened to this in three days flat since I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next. Can't wait for the next book!

Wonderful story

Beautifully written and expressed through the different voice actors. Was on the edge of my seat nearly the whole book. I absolutely loved it!
