Why oh why did I listen to this book before the second is out! I loved everything about this book and the ending has my heart bleeding needing to know how we could ever get a happy ending. The narration is a perfect pair that brought this book to live perfectly.

I had no idea that this duet was connected to Knights of Silence. Mafia is not usually my favorite, but OMG i loved this book!! i can't wait to learn more about Michael and Zaira in book 2!

I absolutely love Amy stories and this one did not disappoint. This is the second time I have listened on audio and it was brilliant. I love hearing the story of Michael and Zaria come to life. Definitely a well thought out love story with Mafia families at the base. I thoroughly enjoyed it and of course the cliffhanger leaves me wanting more. Mark And Maya Bravo do a good job with the narration and gave it a good mafia feel.

Couldn’t stop listening!!

The Chemistry between Michael and Zara is off the charts. This is an action packed story that grabs you from the start and doesn’t let go. As the daughter of a mob boss she is forced in to an engagement, at her engagement party all hell breaks loose, Zara falls hitting her head. She wakes up in the hospital with no memory of who she is. Michael is there to bring her home and care for her while she recovers. The cliff hanger had me wanting to through my phone out the window. Can’t wait for the next book.

Mafia daughter gets amnesia. Cute story. The slow burn killed me! Now I also gave to wait for book 2 to he available!
Loved the narrators. It was my first time listening to them and won't be my last!

Forgetting The Enemy

Forgetting The Enemy is the first book in the series and ends on a cliffhanger. (It is a spin off of the authors the Knights of Silence, MC.) I liked this mafia romance with its deceit, betrayal, lies, secrets and the cliffhanger that will leave wanting more.

Mark and Maya did a good job narrating and bringing the story to life.

Unforgettably good!

Amy Cecil does it again with her new series, The Enemy Duet. Forgetting the Enemy is a brilliantly written mafia romance; I was thoroughly engrossed from the very beginning right to the last word. The storyline is entirely engaging with many fascinating layers and the perfect balance of poignancy, romance, and suspense. The characters are phenomenally developed, intriguing, and authentic for their roles. Seriously, I was blown away by how much I enjoyed Michael and Zaira's journey. You can sense their undeniable connection, the emotional strain brought by adversity, and palpable chemistry.

Another outstanding dual performance by Mark Bravo and Maya May Bravo. Both narrators work remarkably well together, becoming the characters they read. They literally breathed life into Amy Cecil's words, further immersing the listeners.

Forgetting the Enemy is an excellent start to a fabulous new series with a quality plot, characters, and narration. This was a highly enjoyable audiobook, one I recommend. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook, and my unbiased review is voluntarily given.

The Enemy Duet

Forgetting the Enemy (The Enemy Duet, Book 1) caught my eye with its stunning cover. I love mafia so I was excited to listen to this after reading the synopsis. In the beginning I Iabsolutely loved it but then it dragged a bit for me. I don't know if its because it is a spinoff of another series which I have not listened or read. It does end in a cliffhanger and I am interested in listening to the second book in this duet.

Narators Mark Bravo, Maya Bravo didn't fit the characters in my opinion. I felt Maya's inflection was for an older character. Zaira's character is young and Maya's inflection did not show that. She was able to bring the right emotions in the right places. Mark's performance was convincing just not overly excitable. I would listen to other books narated by these two
